Default 28 inch tall tire 15 by 8 or 15 by 10 wheel

does anyone run a 28 10.5 15 on a 8 inch wheel..or have pics of a 15 by 8 compared to a 15 by 10. with the tire on them..i guess the only advantage would be with a 10 more rubber hits the ground...the back rims is one of the only things i have left to buy and a friend has a set of 8's for a good price...juss trying to decide should i wait to get the 10's or juss go ahead and get the 8's

I ran 28x10.5x15 ET Drags on both my 15x10 Prostars and 15x8.5 Convo Pros. You can run a tire with a 10in tread width on a 8-10 rim without any problems.

I would run the 15x10. You can run a 28x10.5 on an 8" rim, but the 10" wheel will put more of the tire on the pavement.

7.5...i juss dont want the tire and rim to look funny or bubble out...i think i will need the extra slick on the ground...im a cam only car that will weigh in at around 2700 with me in it...leaving off a trans brake 8 inch 5500 verter th 350 4.56 gears and a 305 first gear in the trans... so i may have trouble hooking ...do you think the extra slick on the ground will help with a 10 or will the 8 be enough

If you are gonna be launching of a brake with a 4.56 gear, definitely go with a 10 inch rim.

it also makes the tire look alot larger on the 10 inch rim then when its on the 8 inch rim

i noticed this when i went from an 8 inch telstar to a 10 inch convo pro
