after coming home from SGMP i'm exicted to hear about a LS small block testing the 4.40's. Wolfe's car is badass but another chevy powered stang in the 4.40's is where it at.

Wolfes car was killer this weekend. Its not hard to figure out that a 530" big block with twin 9x turbos @ 3250 is going to go faster than a 438" with a single 106 @ 3300. More weight and less HP does those things.... They have changed our rules to bring more parity across the combinations.

What kills me is why Wolfe has been the only one to figure it out.Everybody just add more power but isn't putting it to the track-finally somebody who is making their combination work(besides us that is
)

That is NO JOKE! Wolfe has that chassis 110% perfect. That thing looked like it was out for a Sunday cruise.

Daniel, you saying that the exhaust, faced up like it is is pushing down on the front of the car, enough to be able to remove ballast? That I dunno about, I mean it maks sense but I don't know how much force it could have... to me that would mean the downpipes would have to have alot of support... which I don't typicially see.
If they removed ballast I'd guess that was due to motor and turbo placement/weight not the exhaust forcing the front of the car back down.

you can see a funny car or dragster drift to the side a cylinder goes down??? i donno... sounds fishy buy might work...
if it would work on a no2 car it would look sick as hell with the orange flame up at the windshield.... then you could tell if your tuneup was good while going down the track...lol

You want to do that you mine as well build a set of zoomies that stick out the hood, and then good luck changing the plugs on that.
Top fuel, they're making 8000 hp, I can see that causing the car to drift, especially with how narrow the cars are. I am not saying that what Wolfe did with the exhaust doesn't make a difference, just questioning how much a difference it makes.

I'd imagine its more of an effect due to the engine torque pulling on the plates. Maybe a secondary effect from exhaust pushing (most exhaust is angled downward)
