Well today supposedly the crank is shipping from Sonny Bryant in California. Still no word on when the heads will be shipping. I hope it wont be long now, chassis is done just need a motor to refab the crossover pipe.

I have a dumb question that someone might be willing to answer, and if nothing else it will get me subscribed to this epic build thread--I'm in awe!

Anyway, I think I saw early on in the thread that this is considered a "stock suspension" car. If that is true, why is this considered a stock suspension car? I would have called it a 4-link car, or a back half car. I clearly don't know much about drag racing suspensions.

Thanks in advance to anyone who is willing to enlighten me!

Its got factory mounting points on the chassis and rearend which makes it stock suspension. Thanks!

thought bryant was supposed to be delivered thursday...then UPS pushed to Friday, then monday...

did it ever show up?

We got a crank yesterday, now we need to figure out how to shoe-horn the rods in and do a couple in house upgrades to the crank.

Beefy. They are not standard SBC/LS rods.
