Getting closer, Shawn said we should be good to go by the end of the month which will give us 2 weeks to get the car ready. Marcella is working on the intake. It shouldn't be long now. Shawn is still working on getting the block 100% ready to go from the larger main studs to the keyway lifters. The crank is getting a torrington bearing added to help limit some of the stress to the thrust surface.... Stay tuned!

Still no heads, pistons, or rods... Pistons and rods I can understand but damn, how long does it take to get a set of heads.

I'm a little perplexed by the smaller turbo... It seems that as slowly as you were already having to bring the boost in, a turbo on the big side of optimum made more sense. Are you feeling that the quicker response of the smaller turbo will help you with some transition point where you want the boost to come in a bit more quickly?

We couldn't get the boost in fast enough for the first portion of the run. No matter what we set the AMS to we could not get it to ramp in quick enough.

I dont know, Shawn & Virginia Speed is one of the biggest Mast Motorsports cylinder head dealers and its one thing if they are being built but its not. They were at Marcellas shop for a hot minute and supposedly they have been ready to ship for the past couple months. Its starting to sound like some BS.

LOL Mine were at marcellas shop also atleast thats what i was told... I let my buddy use them for his intake that john was building. Carry keeps giving me the run around. I Bought 2 set of heads from him A set of ls7 305cc runners has them in a month and the mozes heads. Im starting to loose my Patience. I have talked to West Coast cylinder heads they have a new Dash 2 ls7 head.

It doesn't matter how good the heads are, if they are made from unobtanium, it doesn't make much of a difference.

I'm not sure who's worse, Cary or trying to get castings from Pro-filer. Neither one of them seem to be able to do anything in less then 8 months.

I "thought" this would go away when Mast bought Cary out... nice to see that didn't change anything.... and to think that was "supposed" to be one of the big improvements!

Been there, done that with Cary. Months and months of "they are ready to ship" or "one more week." It will never end, I can assure you.
