Still no video...
Yesterday we got a few more things done. Worked more on the wiring, now the power windows, locks, mirrors, brake lights, tail lights, head lights ect all work. I've got to figure out how to get the reverse lights to work but that should be pretty easy. I had a switch to use on the shifter but won't work with the style of transmission in the car.

Today pulled the oil pan off and clearanced it alittle for the bolts, cleaned it out and checked the rod bolts and they were fine. Got the pan back on and all the fittings tightened up.

Found out that the transmission was leaking not sure why. Initally it had about a quart too much fluid but drained that and rechecked. Still leaking not 100% sure where its leaking. I'm thinking that it may be coming from the converter. I tore it down to use a different stator and may not have gotten the o-ring seated correctly.

Last night tried to upload the video but the camera battery died and can't find the charger....

I'm going to make a list today of final things that need to be addressed. Right now all I can think that we need to do is:

Re-route the battery + and -
Remove the trans and check seal on converter, rebuild if necessary
Wire AMS-1000
Wire line lock
Wire Transbrake
Wire intercooler water pump
Run line for fire-bottles
Get the Co2 bottle filled
Mount coolant recovery tank
Prime and paint the front suspension components
Check the lash on the rockers

I know richie very well, his car is dead consistent and right now anticipated to more than 80% of the races. He is the show right now.

Just like brian said, Neal Chance bolt together. I went that route because we have to run 2 different tires and one converter won't cut it. I can pull the tranny, service the converter and replace the stator and we're back in business in 90 minutes.

so you are running one tire....negating your rationale for needed a bolt-together converter

Got a few more small things done last night, the wiring is almost finished. I picked up a charger for the camcorder this morning so we'll have a video tomorrow.
