Get him to run that lady's car at the track and dyno followed by a teardown.

If I were standing in your shop and witnessed this car make 400/400, do you know what that would prove to me? NOTHING.
If this car goes to the track and pulls 119 MPH trap speeds in a full weight car, what will that prove to me? NOTHING.
All that would mean is that the engine isn't internally stock in the truest sense of the term. Nothing more. I, for one, didn't fall off the turnip truck yesterday nor did I hit my head doing so.![The Jester](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_jest.gif)

That was directed at a local guy that wants to know about the speed to prove what gear the car was in during the dyno.
You are right, which is the whole reason for the dyno/teardown like we discussed a few pages back. I am ready when you are.

I think everyone's aware of 90% of the bolt-ons the car has so I don't see why you couldn't list all of those mods Spindoctor, then leave out the ones that are getting you the extra power?
Anyways I won't believe it till there's more proof other than word of mouth. The best way you could prove your claims would be to sell the package to other 98-02 F-bodies and reproduce the results on a few more cars. Then I'm sure someone on here would take there car to you and make sure you didn't do any internal mods, get the dyno numbers, and post the results. Then you'll have literally thousands of people begging for your x package. To me this game of secret mods and shady "proof" is doing nothing for your business. Prove your claims and you'll be an instant hero, fail and your name goes down the drain.

Has the owner of the car agreed to do this test on a Dynojet with an immediate post-test FULL engine teardown (bottom end too) at an independent shop? ...A test and subsequent tear down that HE would of course pay for if the engine does make 400/400 and is discovered to be not entirely composed of unaltered LS1 parts (Be careful here. As we all know, some F-bodys came with LS6 heads and/or an LS6 cam which would NOT qualify as being LS1 parts as defined by this thread.)?
Is this the case?

I want my 15 minutes back for reading this thread.
One word to describe Spindoctor: shady.
If your X-package was such a proven and reliable setup, why is it so difficult for you to post an entire list of modifications made for everyone to consider?
How come you haven't answered any inquiries about the pricing?
How about this offer:
1. I'll set this up between your shop and a local Houston shop that has a dynojet.
2. You send all of your required parts to this shop directly.
3. I'll pay for your plane ticket and 2 nights at a local hotel in Houston.
4. We install your X-package on my girlfriends stock '00 Trans Am (6-speed)
5. I'll pay for all Dynojet rental time, so you can tune the car.
If you can get 400 rwhp, 400 ft-lbs +/- 10 (390-410 rwhp, 390-410 ft-lbs), I'll pay retail for your package. If you don't hit those numbers, I get all of the parts for free.
Rules? Valvecovers, heads, timing chain cover are never removed from the engine. No dyno-tricks allowed.
Wanna gamble? I'll gladly pay retail for a 400/400 rear wheel bolt-on setup.

Cmon Colonel, do you really think this guy will do a teardown? For what? He has no interest in proving anything. He won't lose any business if he doesn't put up or shut up. How often have you seen people continue doing business with shady shops?
I'd wager he's the kind of guy that when a customer comes in the door and says "I want to make 375 RWHP like that guy on LS1TECH did", he says "those guys on LS1TECH don't know a damn thing". "You want 375? I'll give ya 400! Who ELSE can DO that? But it'll cost ya. And I need the car for a week. And don't call or stop by the shop." Customer says, "Yeah, but they all say that can't be done". Spinster says, " What do they know, I did it and they're just jealous. Those guys are just internet racers". Cmon Spinmeister, you know that's the way it goes down at your shop.
And I like how many times your sig has changed in this thread. Oh Spinster, you crack me up.

It is NOT up to the community to tear down his clames, the burden of proof is on the TUNER. Nobody else should have to pay to have this thing inspected, there needs to be no wagering cash (which is also called bluffing), and no money needs to be exchanged. If the tuner can't prove what he's done, then move on and buy somebody elses magic snake oil. All I see right now is somebody not stepping up without bullshit bets.
Until then, I don't think anybody can be granted the honor of being the "first 400rwhp bolton LS1".

I will say this and I live in the same town as Spindoctor, Spin is the king of hidden dry kits from my town. I wouldnt be surprised if the X car had one on it. Hell, his so called fastest H/C f-body had one.

Another note for Spindoctor: Please remove the website link and shop name from your signature. We have a paying sponsor on this site that shares an identical name (but located in California) and we do not want any harm of reputation to come about for them from this post. Some members have already mistaken you as our sponsor's representative.
