Default 400 HP internally stock no Power adder?

Just wondering if anyone has done it? There is a local tuner here that has done it on a 02 WS6 and I have heard others say that it has been done before. I have never heard of anyone else doing it, but I was wanting to know if any others have.

I will not list the mods, but other than bolt ons, tuning, 93 octane, with no power adder (nitrous, turbo, supercharger) I witnessed 401HP/400TQ on a DynoJet that I used a few hours earlier.

Anyone else done it?

Thanks,
Kevin

The car has kooks headers, 4 inch exhaust, aluminum flywheel, lsx intake, electric water pump, pulley, lid and tuning
I call B.S. not that it hasnt and can not be done But because the car is not very fast on the street or track

400+ hp and 400+ ftlbs aint happening outta a bolt on car unless the numbers are uncorrected and you dynoed somewhere in the artic circle

A dyno operator can make any kind of numbers he wants. Whether the car actually puts it to the wheels is another thing. I call BS on 400rwhp on a stock cam.

Perhaps he had LS6 engine swapped and by 'stock' meant stock GM engine? Then it's possible.

My car was on the same dyno a few hours earlier, and put up close to the same numbers it did last time (actually a little lower.) The car made 3-4 back to back pulls, started at about 397 then 399 and then 401. I can't remember the exact numbers, but that is close.

I have heard that there were others that have done this before, and was just wondering if anyone else knew for sure that someone had.

Thanks,
Kevin

I can take a hair dryer to a Dyno machine and make 800 HP all day long if I want to.

400 HP is not possible with COMPLETELY STOCK internals. The stock 5.7L heads and stock cam do not produce enough juice to make that much power, I dont care if you've got bolt ons sent down from god himself...

I personally made 351/361 3 yrs ago w/ my stock 98, untuned, LS1 intake and Mac headers. I've seen 01's make 360-370ish with a full bolt setup, tuning, and Grott LT's running through 3:42 gears. I do not see another 30 HP coming from anywhere..

hahaha 400rwtq? YEAH RIGHT. You or your friend must of not read the curve right. Sometimes dyno sheets have a left and right scale one for hp other for tq and it could be different.. sometimes **** gets confusing.

Just to let you know not even mild cam cars with bolt ons get there with ls6 intakes AND a cutout. Hell some stealthy head and cam cars dont make 400rwtq. You will never be able to make that much torque in your bolt on car. TRUST ME. Sorry but I gotta call BS (actually I would call 380rwtq BS too) unless you had dyno tricks or some weird magic **** cause that aint happening.

Not that it would make a difference but does the car have an LS6 block?

'99 Camaro LS1:
412rwhp/488rwtq, 125 wet shot, Stage 2, 4.11, T-56.

We see that. You also did it with the help of a 125 shot . This thread is asking about 400 HP COMPLETELY untouched inside and out, minor bolt ons only.
