An intake will affect the HP peak of an engine if the runners are longer or shorter. The longer the runner the lower the RPM where the HP will peak at and vice versa. The LSX has taller runners than an LS6 intake, thus the runners will also be longer. A bigger plenum area will not have as much of an effect on the RPM peak as the runner length will. So I don't see the HP peak at 5900 RPM coming from the intake. Unless, and I've mentioned this before, the cam was retarded a couple of degrees. That would raise the RPM where the HP peak comes in.

now i can believe jrp's xpackage, 480 is understandable. but 400? come on now. i mean he posted a dyno graph so it would have to be true right? 
so you had the time to make up a graph like that and we still can get this little bia to scan the real one wiht "400" rwhp. if you posted and said you got 385 out of a bolt on car people would be callin
so lets see, no more info about this package, false claim, talk **** for no reason (could see if you gave a lot of proff and people would say **** like we are but damn u havent said anything, we had to beat the casting numbers out of you) take the time to talk **** and still can post things we wanna see, a good sales man would at least make a fake dyno graph to put up. all this sounds too firmiliar. i say things to my neighbor and he drives 
next time before you post get all the informatoin. every person on here with an idea of how things work here, post up all info people would ask in the first post. if its a cam post they dont give the specs, ok keep a little secret, but they admit its not a small cam. hurry up and post up some stuff before we beat you into the ground anymore

Serioulsy, being that this is an internet discussion (term used loosely), it will at least be interesting if any of these claims are actually independently verified by someone we all know and trust........now if we can just find THAT magic person.
