Default Results: QTP HVMC vs. Pacesetters

Both 1 3/4", both on the same dyno and after no other changes. Only difference is it was 16º hotter for the latest run.

The lower end of the graph I was not quite full throttle when I started the run. Air fuel was the same, but the WB came out of the exhuast so I dont have it on here, it was ~12.9 across the board, but need to do a little work around 4400 rpm. No smoothing to take false torque peak out.

Right at 469/431

Gains (based on final old numbers, this graph just shows the low end increase):
8 hp
6 ft-lbs
26 ft-lbs at 3200

No to bad for a dyno that everyone bitches about being low

Also, FWIW, I dynoed with the Holley powershot, new paper air filter, and no filter, and saw ZERO changes, which is what I expected.

Very impressive gains in the mid-range Mike. Kinda explains why the Corvettes with HVMCs are so strong in the 3000-3500 range. You gotta torquey setup for sure!!

WOW nice numbers! that is a pretty good gain just from headers. Will you be going to the track anytime soon?

Thanks guys.

Yes it was SAE correction. The air temp was 16º hotter and the motor was hot (did not cool off between runs). Would have helped but I dont let the car cool off that much on the street or track so I didnt want to do it on the dyno. Also had my tires at about mid 20's psi as well (25-27 or so).

I am going to get to the track as soon as MT releases the 295/45/17's, or else I run out of gear lol

was there a ypipe or is your exhaust true duals? Yeah, 10hp is a huge gain just from headers

ypipe, I have the QTP one on there, and before I had a TSP one I modified because the way is merged was not good at all. After I got done with it, it was pretty good.

Here you go, this was a dyno right after the 9" install (when I was checking for losses). About a 4 hp loss and 5 ft lbs loss through GMMG.

BTW, thanks Pat for posting that graph like that for me
