2003 S2000 vs. 2004 GTO...
#82
Thats one thing that keeps me away from GTO's. Those donuts for tires they stick you guys with. I have a hard time with my 275's I can't imagine trying to get something smaller trying to hook. Where I live DR's aren't really a viable option for a daily driver so I'd be stuck on street tires most of the time.

What did you have to do to get that under it. Doesn't look like there is enough space to me. I don't own one so I've just given the quick glance under a couple here and there.

Thanks for your informative post . There are many cars out there slower than stock automatic LS1 GTOs, and people on this site own some of them. Just because I don't have $10k to throw at my car doesn't make it pathetic.

IF we raced from a roll it would've been a massacre and if I knew how to launch at the time the dig race would've been over before he topped out first gear.

From a dig is even more likely that he couldn't drive. And since the correct way to launch an S2000 requires a 6,000-7,000rpm clutch slip, I imagine his clutch didn't like him too much by the 3rd one either.

I wasn't aware that everybody on here had LSx cars... last I checked weren't there some V6 F-body, LT1, B-Body, J-Body, Cobalt, half-ton truck, etc., owners here? And quite a few people that don't own anything GM-made?

Not yet. I've noticed a minor oil-usage issue, as well as a small amount of smoke out the tailpipes at high rpm, so I'm gonna investigate that further first. I'll keep ya'll updated.
