Default Is a 12.4 @112 possible for an A4?

the reason i ask is because a friend of mine with an 01 Z28 ran a 12.4@112 his mods are LS6 Intake(already on the car),3.73 Gears,Ud Pulley,Lid,longtube Headers,Cutout,Drag Radials, Stock stall and stock tune and im trying to figure out if he is BSing me on his mods or not, because im only able to pull 12.7's@109 with LS1 intake, stock 3.23's, stock stall, longtube headers, LId, Free Mods, Cutout and a Tune and im trying to figure out how he pulls on me so much up top,

heres a video of me in my ws6, his z28 and another A4 WS6 that went 12.5@111

first and second race My ws6 vs Red ws6 with more mods then listed in video, he has 90/90 mm intake, headers,TB, Tune, Lid, 4.10's, and DR's

are you running drag radials? Have you seen him race, I don't believe anything without seeing it or a time slip. Don"t get me wrong it is possible I think. I have a A4, but I ran a 13.42@ 105mph bone stock. I have some new additions, but I have yet to get to the track to see the results. Video was cool. His mph is only 7mph faster than mine and he is running a full second quicker. I find that hard to believe.

My mods are similar and my best is 12.59 at 110 mph. I guess a 12.4 is possible

Damn, spin much on those slower passes? Haha

I think his times are entirely possible. Hell, Im trapping nearly 115MPH with fewer mods, in a heavier car. Granted, it has a few more cubes than an Fbody!

Oh yeah it's fully possible. I've seen stock stall and tranny A4s with 3.73 gears pull 12.8's before.

Sounds about normal to me, stalls make all the difference in the world, stalls and gears and that car will upset some people.

Yea the LS1 intake is hurting you a lil bit up top. I know a kid here in south florida, with long tubes, ls6 intake (stock02), TD's and a tune, who ran a 12.3 @ 115 on nittos. He is an M6 with stock 342's.

Quick Reply: Is a 12.4 @112 possible for an A4?
