Default Just curious any input would help

Project is getting close and just a little curious as to where I should be the first time out. Any help from you guys would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Mods are in sig and this is on a stock 3rd gen rear with goodyear 235/55/16's

And BTW swap is a lot easier than I thought

That 92 RS isn't going to be slow anymore!

Well let's see first time out - I think low 13's first pass. Tweak air pressure in the tires etc if the track hooks well etc. Getting the car dialed in you have the potential to go mid 12's if it hooks and tune/shift points are good.

Is that 3rd Gen rear a posi/limited slip or open?

It's good to hear the swap isn't bad. I'll probably be doing that in Jan or Feb.

right now is open dif but just found one of those borg warner 3:33 posi units for pretty much next to nothing and since I still have to pull the tank to swap the fuel pump might was well just go pick that up and slap in real quick

im going to guess mid 12's around 107-108 mph.. if you get the rear end done. No converter yet?

If you do a converter...supporting suspension mod's etc..you'll be able get into the 11's in time.

no converter yet as I haven't made my mind up on a cam and I have to go on the rollers for emissions so probably won't do that until after emissions test then just play the swap game every 2 years

If you have to go on the rollers for sniffer test...I think a 224/224 XE-R on a 114 will pass if the tune is good etc. I think getting thru the E test before doing the rest of it is smart.

LOL sounds like a plan and you'll have one of those donkey dick cams in there in no time! Magic Stick 4, Torquer v, G5x something or other?

Well today was the maiden voyage down the track .... some of you were close some not so close

best pass
2.22--60
13.42 1/4
mph was 105.36
and I bounced off the rev limiter on that one for a split second

ran 4 13.5 with 2.3 60's trapping at 107

now please keep in mind this is a stock peg leg 2.73 gear rear end on street tires

just thought I would share the news

and learning the car more it gets better
1-25-09 got 2 passes in
best was
2.0 60'
with a 13.0 at 108.33 mph
bad news is I wasn't paying too much attention and let off about 50-80' early
oh well, it's still getting better and better
