How do you like FI power compared to the NA power?
If your like me you definately miss the explosiveness of NA

It's the infamous OFI kit. I really like it, and so does everyone else that sees it. It's like the cleanest kit I've seen on an fbody.

You know... I do miss how my na car would just go go go with a **** ton of TQ on demand, but this car pulls so ridiculusly hard on the top that it doesn't really matter. This car makes almost the exact same power down low as my 454 car til 3500rpm, then it just skyrockets over. I have this graph overlay my best pull from the 454 car to this turbo car. Even from a roll, a little brake boosting and the car takes off next to any NA / KB car.

The green line was my 454 car and the blue line is the turbo car.

When I take into accountability the streetability and tameness of this car out of boost, it's a hands down winner over the other car. Although the 454 car was nasty!!

One of the few guys left that can still take a joke and not get all butthurt.

It's a PTE 76GTSH. Works great with a little six liter And thanks! Every time I open the hood to check the oil and whatnot at the gas stating I get a little crowd, haha.

I'm sure you get two types of people when you pop the hood:

1.) Guys that ask "What turbo are you running?"
2.) Guys that ask "What kind of cold air kit is that?"

It's a badass car for sure.

You nailed that one right on the head!! You know, I dont mind if you don't know a whole lot about performance cars, or cars in general, but there's always an awkward moment when someone calls my turbo an air intake. lol

I don't wanna make them feel all stupid and tell them what it really is, so I'm just like "yeah man, it's a fun car"

it happened to me like literally 2 days ago at a gas station hahaha.

'Tech used to be so much more poppin' then it is now... what happened?

Thanks! I love the "push" feeling a turbo has. It's addicting.

Same here. I love the guys that ask how big my engine is. I tell them
that it's just a little 281. It's like they beat their chest and tell me all
about their 454 cid engine...that probably makes 250rwhp.
I try to be nice too and just play it off like "yeah, there's no replacement
for displacement" or some other cliche.

It's just a different crew now...very different personalities than what we had before. That along with different "management" and ownership. The age group is much younger now also and it will continue to get younger as the price of LSx vehicles drop. There are still an awful lot of good people here though, which is why I stick around.
