Default Guess my track time!

going to the track this weekend for the first time and im curious as to what ill be running. any guess???
408 putting down 500/500 M6 car running nitto 555R's with a weight of around 3400lbs

Stock suspension, and nitto's on stock wheels?

stock suspension sadly. planned on doing that first but the original motor blew so i figured i might as well build what i want. but anyways they are on c5 z06 whels 10.5" rear wrapped in 315's

mid 12's @ 124.....

good luck hooking,i could not hook a 400rwhp automatic with nitto 555R.
i was doing john force burn outs too the 1/8th.......

be carefull & have fun!

^^ I think I agree with heymoej. Stock suspension plus 555R's on big rims...sounds like mine lol

haha no no no not my first time at the track, first time with this new motor lol i guess i shoulda been more clear!! hopefully that changes my guesstimate!

and great, guess ill need to get some "real" track wheels/tires lol

I mean you could potentially pull off high 11's, but hooking up 500 rwhp on your setup with a M-6 might be a challenge lol

i guess thats a good problem to have lol where would you say to start out dumping the clutch at?

If it were me on my very first pass I would start conservative and go from there...maybe like 2k or so and see what happens

ok,gotcha.

then you know getting that power to the ground and being able to use it, is gonna be a challenge.....WHAT DID YOU RUN WITH THE OLD MOTOR?

you have the horse power to mph in the low 130 range.....


my 406rwhp full weight auto car i mentioned earlier,
with nittos being on the car ran 12.8 @ 118 with a 2.00 60'

on et streets with the same car it went an 11.08 @ 122 mph with a 1.48 60'


my 475rwhp m6 car runs 10.80 @ 128 mph with a 1.51 60'

thanks man! unfortunately i never had a chance to get the old LS1 bolt on and cam car to the track. i had a valve BREAK to quickly after the cam swap....
