Default LM7 Iron 347 Build Guesses?

Started working on my replacement motor for the 98 TA.

---Motor/Exhaust---
LM7 Block
Polished LM7 Crank
Eagle Forged H-Beam Rods 6.125" w/ARP 2000 Bolts
Mahle PowerPak Piston and Ring Kit 3.905"
Melling Standard Volume High Pressure Oil Pump
Improved Racing Oil Pan F-Body Baffle
Morel 5315 Lifters
Custom Spec'd Tick Performance Camshaft
AI CNC 226cc 799 Heads
Fast 92/Nick Williams 92TB Combo
FAST TOYS 104mm Lid
UD pulley
TSP 1-7/8 Long Tubes
TSP Y-Pipe
SLP Loudmouth II
NX Direct Port 150hp Shot (maybe 200hp shot occasionally)

---Driveline---
FTI 3800 Stall Converter
4L60E
Motive 3.90's
Moser 28 Spline Axles

And A tune...... What Numbers/Track Times you think I will see? I am going to keep it full body TA only with rear seat removed

I am looking for close 450rwhp on motor and close to 600rwhp on spray... with 10's in Quarter

Well since dynos vary and don't necessarily tell you how fast your car will be, I'll just leave others to guess on your numbers. Now the track....what tires and wheels will you be running?

11.0s to 11.2s at around 125-126 with 1.9 60s is my guess if stock suspension and 17s. If you can get it to hook then 10.8s around same mph my guess

I really love the Weld RTS wheels on TA's I may get a set with tires for track use after build is finished that will help for sure. I also do plan on adding BMR Tubular K-Member, Adjustable Pan Hard Bar, Adjustable Lower Control Arms, & Torque Arm but after the build and I regain some funds

I don't know what drag radials you run but I run the same wheel and tire combo on my red camaro. Mine are Nt05rs. They are a good mix and hook pretty decent on street but track it's a hit or miss. I ended up buying a pair of weld rts that I'm gna use for track and they match the zr1s pretty good

No problem man good luck! Your setup sounds very similar to mine actually...4.10 gear, 17x11 ZR1's with BFG dr's, and 125 shot. I can't hook for **** on the nitrous with this setup lol

Going different route on heads and cam, going to support local business and site supporters plus still reach my goals a little cheaper also... I already had a set of 799 Heads laying around why not use them.

Updated above in first post....

Where you heading to? Your not that far from me.

Any reason you are going with the iron block instead of aluminum?

Advanced Induction in Concord

LS1 block is toast so I am using LM7 Iron plus going for power adder so I wanted cast iron regardless if it is heavier and not any stronger.

Okay.

If your looking to just spray I would stay aluminum due to the weight but if forced induction is main goal go for iron for sure. Building an iron 347 right now as well to go with a s480

I am going with the Direct Port setup I have for now, but later I am going STS Turbo since my friend is a dealer and I love his setup on his z28. I will prob keep the direct port setup but tone it down to a 100 shot or so for track use, I am running a dedicated fuel system for the kit anyway so might as well use what I will already have.

Well after much talking and thinking it over I have decided to ditch the build, I am going to keep what I have for "future" endeavors. For the money to build this engine for boost I can get a LSX376 LS3 Crate at work for alot cheaper with a 2y/24,000 mile warranty. So thats a easy choice. And with the LSX block I have a big future to build later as long as I dont throw a rod.

Thanks for looking and helping.
