160-250 is the general range. Make sure its a good brand tint that wont turn purple over time. 3M is pretty good, llumar etc.
btw i loved my 5% during the day, but nightime was a total ***** to drive with lol.

In CT they really break ***** about this so to me it would need to be DMV approved and have the sticker on it so when you get pulled over they can leave you be. BUT for me I do not want even that much attention or the hassel.
Maybe some on the hatch as they do not care about that but the side windows forget about it.

$2-250 sounds about right.
I got 35% on the sides and 20% on the back. Looks good imo.
I'v had it for over 8yrs now and I'll probably be redoing it in a couple. The back is done in 2 pieces and I tore a couple spots in it. (using my car as a truck once or twice ) If you can get a shop to do the back in one piece it will look best.

i paid 180 for two of my sedans and a little less for my brothers accord coupe.
Dont go with the cheapest price, as they usually use crap film. 3M is good as is Diamond.
I only know diamond is good after having it on all of my cars. Wife's car got 3M and it held up just as well. But I loved that with the Diamond Iw as able to choose the type of film(metalic, ceramic and i forget the others) that either fit my needs for heat reflection or, in my case, looked the best.

$150 is the going rate here in CT, and most places will not do anything more that the legal limit cus they dont want the hassle from cops, in my town if you have illegal tint cops will slash your tint or make you scrap it right there and then. The only cop ever killed in our town was shot through a REALLY dark tinted window so the police have ZERO tolerance and i dont blame them...

I just got my windows tinted this past Saturday. Would have originally costed me $200, but I ended up paying $300, I have 27% on both the sides and the hatch.
Also, just a heads up, you want to make an effort to make sure your windows are clean. Make sure they don't have any crud or glue on them or anything like that because they will charge you extra to remove it. My rear hatch window/passenger side window were all screwed up with glue residue from the old tint that I removed that I couldn't get off myself, so they charged me an extra $100 to clean them completely and get them 100% clear again.

They do a killer job on hatch tints, once piece no bubbles and defrost still functions fine. Still might look them up when I have the extra scratch.
