Default Anyone in CT Have Kooks TD's? (F-Car)

I've been wanting the Kooks TD system since it came out, but I want it with cats and I really don't wan the exhaust to be battling the stereo. I've got a cam too, so that adds a degree of difficulty.

Just wondering if anyone around here has this setup and maybe I can drop by and take a listen to it.

^ Yeah. I plan on ordering it too, but probably not till spring/summer next year, but I may just end up getting a C6Z by then anyway. Really just about getting bored with this car and not sure if I can justify spending another $10k for mods. Needs gears badly, but not sure if that's gonna fix my boredom.

^ Drone? Street car?

Uuuugh.. Maybe this is why I change exhausts every other year. Keeps me interested in the car.

I had them on my 99SS that I sold . It was a custom system that they made in the shop when they were in LI NY. They did take measurements of the entire system "for future use" before final installation. I will say it was awesome, no rattles or drones, But I did have them add 2 resonators to make sure I would not violate the sound restrictions where I race. The new packaged system looks exactly like my system minus the resonators and I had to have the mufflers rotated 90 deg to clear the trailer hitch that I used to get my race tires to events. The negative was that hand made system ended up costing 2800.00 , way more than I was expecting.

I think you should spend all your money on parts for the V-Dub

^ Yeha, I'm lowered too. I just want an exhaust that sounds good that's reasonably quiet and won't be battling my stereo. I kinda regret getting rid of my Borla Adjustable. Just needed a cutout, some good LT's, Merge Y and a cutout for the CB. Oh well.

Oh trust me, I thought of it... Trade for a MKVI DSG GTI (2010+) and dump some money into it. Stg2 or even 3 are roll monsters.

^ I'd love to get rid of my SLP LT's... I've had them for long enough and, like I said, god knows how much power they're choking back.

I guess I'll have to build a Y. ARH LT's have been at the top of my list for a while.
