Those are mean machines. I know of an 03 mach 1 if you'd be interested? Red with black stripe, it's at a ford dealer they are asking 24 or 25k...I don't know if this is a good price for one so don't laugh

Get the Mach 1.
I had two 03 Cobra's and if I was going to do it all over I would buy a used low mile Mach 1 with an aod and a converter and put a blower on it.Mid 11s easy.
The cobra was cool because I spent less then $1200 and ran low 11s but there are so many other things I didnt like.Just to name a few.
Driver seat was very unconfertable
rear irs sucks
I hated that stupid blower whine
The paint sucked and would get chiped by a masqueto(sp?)
The T56 was no match for the one in my Ws6

An automatic Mach with a convertor, 4.10s, and some bolt-ons would run very well, but it would never MPH or run from a roll like even a basic bolt-on Cobra....

voting for cobra over here!! got my 03 a year ago for a lot under msrp....
or a mach aod with mild bolt ons u have a killer bracket car....not a good highway car tho...
depends what u wanna get...cobra rides great on street with IRS but stinky at track...big hp and big mph but tough to launch and heavy..
