so the condenser didnt even take 5 minutes, so i took the tim to zip tie the under dash harness up as neat as possible.

now i need to either buy or make a firewall panel for the massive hole from the ac, tear the doors apart, pull the sway bar, throw the bottle and dr's on it. and run the **** out of it at the track rental!!!!

just a simple baseline et! lol

I got my **** fixed. Now I am in need of a tune from someone. Once it warms up it wants to die. Also once it goes to about 5200 rpm the converter seems to slip. I also think I need to run my exhaust out the back under or over the axle. Anyone got any ideas on prices?

after breaking ANOTHER U joint in less than 3 weeks, last night, I have pretty much narrowed it down to the pinion yoke being stretched. I have another stocker off a broke rearend I'm going to throw on it to see if thats the case. if it is, I'll probably go ahead and upgrade it to a 1350 series yoke and U joint.... all I know is replacing these things is getting old.

The needle bearings still had grease in them this time and looked like steel glitter rather than powder like last time.... Good thing I was at Chauncey's house when I found the problem. jacked it up, pulled the shaft and used his press, it took about 20 minutes to swap the joint and put it back together... pretty soon I'll have this repair down in record time like trans swaps... I can have mine out in 45min and another trans in and running in about 2 1/2 hours... its sad but true.

if this doesnt fix it then I'll definitely be needing one of those. especially once this thing starts seeing some traction and some solid 1.7X 60's if its breaking **** running 2.0's on street rubber I can only imagine what hell's going to break loose once it holds....
