Good job sticking through it with all of the little hurdles on the way. It sure is easier to loose money on jobs like that then it is to make money.

Well your efforts will be rewarded with knowing that you built the most brutal H2 ever built... Please get LOTS of videos of this thing when testing. That's the only thing I wish you guys at EPP did! I wish you guys took more videos!

If you need a dedicated web friendly cam get one of these http://www.theflip.com

They're really cheap, really easy to use, and I have really enjoyed mine being on the road. It allowed me to make quick little videos and send them back home to show everyone what I was up to "behind the scenes".

This thing is totally badass, I've got a group of friends that we all send really sick car videos to each other and I sent the idling clip last week and they were all blown away with how brutal this thing sounds! The blower is louder than the 8-71s on our monster trucks haha!

Thanks, yes it is. There is no way we can charge for all the additional time that we have invested into this truck.

Thanks, we're encountering belt slippage, so we ordered a slightly smaller belt that we're going to try to get on. We can't lock up the torque converter on the dyno, the rwhp numbers would be a higher if we could lock the converter up.

This dyno sheet shows the amount of time into the dyno run where the torque absolutely goes crazy. This Hummer is going to be a real tire frier!

Thanks, I took more video than what I have posted so far, plus we're not done yet. Wait until you hear this at wot on the dyno, my office is at the opposite end of the building, and we had to put our hands over our ears in the office today when Brent was going wot with this Hummer on the dyno. This baby rocks! Bob

hmmm, still seems like a good bit of boost for the power, at any rate I bet it will spin the tires!

It looks like it would have made close to 600 if the belt would have stayed with the game.

The belt being tighter isnt always the best on these, I spoke with Brent on a belt recommendation. The fact that the converter will not stay locked and it is running through an AWD transfercase with 35" tires explains alot with the dyno sheet.

Yes indeed, a lot of factors are involved that won't make this a stellar dyno star. The best way to describe this Hummer when you nail the throttle is "angry", and if anything is in it's way, it is going to go over it...

We're very, very patiently waiting on a blower belt for it. We want to make sure that when this Hummer gets shipped over to Saudi Arabia it is going to be trouble free, and we're very close. Bob

We managed to install a Napa 25 0081074 belt and we put the Hummer back on the dyno, but we're still getting belt slippage. We have a different type of belt on order that we're going to try, to see if we can eliminate this problem. Bob

so this thing has got all that working against it (belt slip, huge wheels, 4 wheel drive with a torque convertor and huge heavy drive train parts, and it still put down 600lbs of rwtrq???

Jeez. This thing is a monster, and must be cool drive....especially off road. All it needs to finish it off and make it the coolest is a .50 cal mounted on a turret up top, and some bullet proof windows with some armor (at least thick enough to stop bullets).

That would be the coolest damn hummer ever!

We ordered a Dayco poly cog 80.0 belt on and we're not seeing belt slippage until approx 5600 rpm or so. It's a hot and humid day here today, not ideal conditions for making a lot of dyno power, but the dyno graph looks much better.

Keep in mind this is with an unlocked converter. Bob

Hope you guys are being paid by the hour on this one! Looks like it's coming together nicely. Ought to make a serious sand slinger.

BTW: Thanks for getting my vette hood out today. PM late last night and the hood leaves the front door today. Attaboys to you and your crew.

I wish we were getting paid by the hour! lol In all fairness the company in Saudi Arabia that we are building this H2 for has been a great customer who wants to make sure that we are fairly compensated for.

Thanks for the order on the hood, you will be very happy with it. Bob

Update: We're taking the hummer to the dragstrip today when we run our Camaro to get some miles on it. Who knows, maybe I'll run it down the track several times. Bob

Hot and Humid! The DA was 3850.

I ran the Hummer several runs, it was blowing all four tires off the starting line, it did manage a 2.02 60 ft time. It would start to drift as all four tires spun, sort of a weird feeling. It ran a 14.23 at 98 mph, I wish it had been cooler outside, the track was just too slick. Bob
