Waiting to see some track action !

By the way, how is my ring-order going on?

I have those China clamps they sell on Ebay. A lot cheaper
Rings will soon be ready and we will stock them in these dimensions:

4.005"
4.020"
4.030"

These are an alternative clamp

apparently much cheaper than the Wiggins, and allow up to 5deg of misalignment

Awesome work Andreas...cant wait to see how the car performs !!!

I did test it last weekend but my converter didn´t work so great. Rev limit from start to finish. But it went 8.77 anyway
I have sent my converter for rebuild now. I will test it next weekend!

Hey Andreas, still interested in the Pyramid Rings, just have not needed to build an engine yet haha!

Do you provide machining specs or installation instructions if I purchase a set of rings? I was talking to my machinist, and he said it sounds like a good idea, but he would want to know exactly what you did before he would try it.

It´s very easy. You machine a groove that is 108.0 mm in diameter and 2.0 mm deep around the cylinders. Then will our rings fit in to the block with the graphit gasket around to seal water.

Works perfect! Never pushed any water at all, and i have reused the gaskets 2 times now.

awesome car!

So i am planning a turbo L76 build (l92 heads), target HP is 800 low and 1000 or so for the drag strip.

What i take from your build is that my stock cast 6.0 crank would most likely be just fine and i dont need to spend $800-1000 on a forged crank?
I am willing to buy a forged stroker crank but if the stock unit will work i don't mind saving the money (plus i just love seeing insane power on stock parts).

do you have a link on the pyramid ring set up?

Yes. I have a LSX 427 block with glued Cometics on now. If it will be any gasket failure i will switch to pyramid rings. We stock these in the most common sizes.

Ive got a set of milled and ported l92 heads that i was going to sale for a set of 317 heads and a super vic intake, would i be able to use my l92s by having the pyramid ring installed? Its a hassle to sell the l92s and the l92 vic jr intake to get the 317s and a super vic intake, and would save alot of time as well.

love the car, have a couple of questions

1. what kind of throttle cable is that? is it some kind of push-pull deal??
2. I am contemplating running my exhaust like you did, ie behind the tire. do you experience any clearance issues?
