You can go to a speed density tune. I would advise against it if you plan on driving the car alot. I am going to use a newer card style maf. Originally was going to use a texas speed 100 mm maf.

Anything up to an F2 will bolt in place of a D1sc, provided you have the room for the transmission and stuff.

You're going to make some good power with that combination, you'll have to post up the results. Bob

Thanks, Bob. I'll post the graph as soon as soon as I hear from my tuner(BADDLS1SS).

That ls3 is a mean set up... The power your getting is insane just on 10 lbs... It is my belief that naturally aspirated, the ls3 heads flow way to much, but once boost is applied you can see those heads come alive, and the proof is in the pudding. Nice set up..

Ill dig this thread from the grave.

Holden SS Commodore. LS1, stock bottom/heads/cam with PAC 1219 valve springs and a ported throttle body. Ceramic coated 1 3/4 headers with twin 3in exhaust.
E85 fuel system - Walbro e85 lift pump/ surge tank / A1000 fuel pump / Fast fuel reg/ id1000 injectors.
built 4l60e with 3000 stall.
D1SC @ 10/11psi.
470rwhp
Has run a pedaled best of 11.96 @ 118.6mph / 1.81s 60ft, full street trim, easily 3800lb+.

Hoping with a pulley and tial q 50 upgrade, removing some weight from the vehicle and running some et streets i can push for a high 10.

Cheers

I have a totally customed F-1C setup with super pulley on supercharger and 2" cogged belt setup on my '01 bird. LSX 434, AFR 225, Fast 90mm(cuz I had it), Kooks 1 7/8 that I had ceramic coated to try to reduce head radiation because of the close proximity of fuel lines and remote battery cables, 6spd 4L80E, Moser 12, huge Bell intercooler w/4" lines regrettably lots of tight radius 90s. Car still has all factory workings, even A/C which created major challenges with routing of intake air to supercharger and other necessary boltons, not to mention designing of cooling system, and the sheer dollar amount and work. The underhood is seriously busy. But, if my custom bracketry works, it will all have been worth it.
Jesus, I just pray it doesn't need to come back out soon for any reason...I dread the day.

I'm sure you meant 4 speed.

The reason why Prochargers can be awesome is the simpleness to them. The quoted post above shows a guy with a P1 Procharger, that you can find used all day for next to nothing, running high 9 second times. That is freaking awesome. When you start making a Procharger super complicated with high dollar one off pieces, that's when I think it's wiser to go turbo. Either way, I hope it works well and all your hard work pays off. Sounds like a nice build.
