Default LS2 APS W/LG Turbo (part 2)

well starting a new thread to get away from the old and very long frist thread and start fresh with good news. we got new numbers after all the work and BS its faster then ever i couldnt be happier.

if you didnt see the frist thread here you go. make sure you got some free time LOL.
https://ls1tech.com/forums/forced-in...lg-turbos.html

well after some boost issuse we got it tuned and working right
The car was tuned on a mustang dyno. I wish we used a dvno jet to see the change in power but my *** is telling me its alot faster.

The car made 657rwhp and 647rwtq at 11psi of boost on 93octane NO meth and 20degs timing. so with that being said im going to work out some bugs and drive the car to get a hang on this new power. than its a 3bar bigger injectors and race gas for the win.

and the LG turbos still come in hard like the standerd turbos. so hard that the tuner use the eboost2 to ramp the boost up with a delay. ill try to get you a dyno graph soon and sorry no vids yet

Thanks to all the guys that have help me out with this car i cant list them all but they know who they are thanks

Good to see things working out. Mustang are nice to tune on but don't like them because you have so many variables . Local mustang first set it to dynojet equivalent, then to mustang standard setting and then to where they felt it should be! WTF?
Dynojet usually much more consistent. So hopefully after you really get it tuned and turn the wick up you can go to dynojet and get those 900 or 1000rwhp numbers I am pretty sure you can get.

But of course track mph is a great indicator too and hell even 600rwhp on mustang ,dynojet whatever is still pretty strong. And you of course know your car and sure its way stronger with the new built 402 and the big turbos.

Looking forward to seeing the track results. And me am just sitting back watching the season go by. No dyno and no track times and not even done my turbo upgrade swap yet. I better give me mechanic /buddy a kick in the butt when he gets back from holidays !

Wonder how much power and for how long that tex single is going to take.

And so was it gates sticking or just eboost settings that were the problem you were talking about few posts back. Lingenfelter think has slick setup for boost by gear on your six speed. Course if you are going auto over the winter anyway no big deal.

So the first dyno was mustang or dynojet? It can get confusing. What cam is in your 402..?

Looking good Tom! So did you have to do any grinding on the k member to get the intercooler couplers to clear or the air intake hoses to clear.Did you have to grind like think Barnat did. So there is good clearance now for steering still cant' really tell in the pic.

I think you should put a mustang dyno marker on the second set of numbers until you get a proper dynojet dyno.

Congrats tom! Very nice! For sure you will hit 135mph. That's pretty awesome you made more hp on less boost than last time. Cant wait to see it on race gas like you said. Good luck at the track!

we took it to the track after the engine swap, but the eboost was being homo so i ran it on WG. so on 8psi it pulled 1.63 60foot with a 5500rpm drop off the 2-step. but it went 11.23 @ 129. so i got the eboost working good so far with the auto. now if it would stop raining so i can tune the VE for 14psi id be happy

oh that was with a 325/50/15 MT DR and 3.42gears
