Default Wideband ? AEM UEGO vs Innovative LC1

Which one is better and why? They both cost about the same on ebay.

LC1

Pros
Comes with logworks
Accurate
Uses the Bosch Sensor

Cons
Damned ugly bland *** gauge (Only reason I dont want it)
Does not match my gauge setup at all

AEM UEGO

Pros
Good looking gauge
Accurate
Uses the Bosch Sensor

Cons
No Logging Software

Now I am running HP Tuners MPVI Pro so I dont think I need the logworks from the Innovative kit. Both sensors have the input wire for the HP Tuners.
The question I am wondering is is there a specific reason I should go with the LC1 over the AEM Model? Will the Innovative benefit me over the AEM model? Lemme know what you folks think.

AEM UGO...best IMO. I had this on my last car and it was very accurate. Just use that input on your HP Tuners and your set.

Had nothing but problems w/ my LC1. It was a full 2 points off at times, the final straw was when it would only work for 2-3 mins before reading nothing but 20.8.

lc1 install is much more involved.... aem is a bit simpler. But i do believe the lc1 is a great product..... if they could just get their problems ironed out.

Had the lc1 for a short time and loved it. Had the gauge that looked like most of autometers guages... It broke and they replaced it but i did not want to go through wiring it in again. I bought the fast and wished i never would have stopped using the lc1

What options do you have if you just have the regular HPtuners kit, and not the pro version. With the AEM, I have no data logging capabilities then. Correct?

From what I hear you can fudge the software and hook your widebands data wire through another sensor such as the A/C sensor or the EGR Sensor then set up your values for the wideband under one of those 2 sensor PID locations. There are writeups on how to do it, here is one with pics:

I have run the PLX (****), the NGK AFX and it works perfectly ( I have three now), and I am also using the LC-1 on a project. I did experience some isuess with the LC-1 on the project. Realy I think the AEm, the NGK, and the LC stuff are all pretty much the same quality and reliability.

Nothing but problems with NUMEROUS Innovate products....Their wideband being the worst.

Switched multiple cars to the AEM and the problems dissipated. Plus we've done numerous test with the AEM's vs. the dyno and they have been spot on.

After my last 2 LC-1's crapped out, I'll never buy another one. Ive had good luck with the PLX, NGK, and Autometers.
