Now I wouldn't drop 300+ hp nitrous on a C-Series crank.
Turbo stuff is easier on the parts.
Still the 390 engine was designed to be a better option for D1SC, NOVI 2000, T-Trim, TVS blowers etc. and Single turbo up to T4 88mm or twin 62mm
Dragonslayer crankshaft better option over 1000hp, F-series head unit, thumper size turbos.

The shop I was at before, ran a stock LS2 to 800rwhp with APS turbos.
I'm concerned with crank flexing eating the bearings. Anything is possible, even 4340 forged cranks break, i've seen $2,000 rocker arms break, in the final round at SCSN.
The car with 1060rwhp will be going to the track in near future.
In my own personal build I'm looking for 800-850rwhp, TH400, APS upgraded twins, will be 390ci LS2.

Mine is still in the crate in the back of the truck. I just need to get it in the damn car already!
390ci LQ9 block/Compstar crank/compstar H-beam rods/CP 15cc dish pistons/ARP main studs/ARP rod bolts/ARP head studs.
Everything looks great in the crate hahaha.

In a 1 car garage. With an extended cab 2500HD it's a tight fit

I've dropped everything off at the shop where I'm doing the work. Word to the wise: LS1+T-56+K-member is hard to move by yourself with 2 floor jacks supporting it. Hernia=Do Not Want

Yeah I'm finishing up stage one of a 3 stage process that will net me a 390 powered truck manifold single setup with a T-56 and a 9". 9"/new clutch is stage 2 and the turbo kit/fuel system is stage 3. I'm looking to make ~700-800rwhp for now so the T-56 doesn't shatter on the first drive and it will still spool nicely. Maybe auto+bigger turbo later.

What kind of heads would be best suited for this 390ci motor? I've got some 243s cnc'ed by Advanced Induction to 62cc setup for a 3.9 bore. Would there be much benefit in swapping these for a larger 4.0 bore head or will I be ok? Not sure if the 62cc is too much milled off or not depending on piston dish.
Also, what, if any, would be the negatives to running an f1 series blower on this motor as opposed to a d1sc, novi, ysi etc. ? Reason being is I've always wanted to do a procharger and I don't want to get to the limits of the d1sc and not be happy. I also like that the f1 series sound like jet engines lol.
