I have a Lasabre parked in my storage garage that I use for road trips only. I've been threatening to trade it for the car in your sig!

"Rotating assembly
Compstar 3.825 crankshaft
Compstar H beam 6.125" rods
CP Piston set -15cc dish 4.030" pistons x 1.200" CH
CP .180" wall chrom-moly piston pin set
NPR ring set, gas nitrided steel top ring, napier 2nd, std tension oil ring.
King HP rod bearings
King HP main bearings
Crankshaft is balanced
$1995 shipped to lower 48"
Dammed good price... seems to me.
Fast Times got my attention 10 or 15 years ago when they were building 65 Impala's that were in the 8's! And, being from the 50's myself.. when c.i.'s was king(!) it really shocked me to see they were doing it on short stroke engines. If memory serves they were even de-stroking some engines and makeing unreal power doing that. This 390 seems to follow along the lines of that philosophy.

If you supply the block, can take $350 off the price
(Take $3495 - $350 = $3145, in that case need a block shipped to me to build. )
Outright price for Aluminum block version
385ci Aluminum LS2 block $3995
399ci Aluminum LS3 block $4350
Either Version
CP pistons 2618 forged -15cc R/Dome dish
Gas nitrided ring steel top ring (made by NPR Japan)
Compstar H beam rods ARP 2000 bolts
Compstar 3.825" crankshaft 24 or 58x reluctor
King HP bearings
ARP main studs
LS2 or LS3 block

Also interested in the 4.070 LS3 based engine
Looks like 398 c.i. (6.5L) with 4.070x3.825
Will the pricing be similar to the $3999 LS2 based 390 if compstar internals are used?
When do you recommend coating the pistons or main/cam bearings?
And would you recommend any options for the LS3 block to hold at a maxed out D1Sc (800hp?)

Been PM'ing 99bluefirebird and couple others, 4.070" pistons are in the works.
Coat bearings anytime, stock to race build, everything in between.
Not required but does help.
We can pin the mains, option, $300, or we offer it with pin mains and coat pistons dome/skirt for $500.
