"was told that I need to have 2000 hp fuel pump, 3/4 fuel rails and -12 feed and -10 return to support anything over 900 flywheel hp on e85 (switched back to c16 till this winter when i will upgrade the fuel system)"

that is some false information right there.. -8 line is able to support just over 1200rwhp.. and people have done it.. reduce that by 30% your at 840rwhp, and i have heard -8 should be able to support close to 1000rwhp on e85 as that 30% figure is what it is, a figure, alot of other things will affect your hp such as timing, proper tuning etc.

I am gonna say if you have -8 from the pump to the rails with no restrictions then ur pump or wiring to your pump is suspect, i would lower my base pressure down to 3bar if i were you because this would get you more hp out of the pump as increase in pressure reduces lph of the pump..

what kinda pump/pumps are you running and how is it wired up

I would check the voltage at the pump, and then make sure your battery is proper as well, a bad battery can create alot of issues.. Also make sure ur pre and post fuel pump filters are not clogged, and how are you feeding the pump

Your car sounds good. Need to tell the guy standing behind the rear tire on the passenger side, he must not like being alive. That is a very dangerous place to stand.

dude this might sound dumb but my car spun on the dyno like hell till a old man walked over and said(Ohh you dumbass have the straps on wrong!). He had two over the rear end pulling backwards towards both rear corners and then ran a strap from the left side of the lift to the right over the two straps. I swear it hooked like hell after that. I even did 1/4 passes off the trans break spooled up and i still hooked.

Also was your rear tires on top of the roller or slightly towards the front? That makes a huge deal too. You gotta think lmr dynos 1000+ cars all the time and they dont spin.

Thanks. I know it's not the best place to stand. But had no other options.

Yeah we have lots of cars slip on that dyno. We are waiting for Mustang to send us a rear end pulldown. If it does not come soon, we will have to make one. But hopefully that will solve our problems with tire spin.

If this is the pump you got i got the same one and it works great. (loud as **** but works great)
I did some 15lb pulls on e85 at 60psi (boost ref 1.5 to 1) and i never had a fuel drop.

Thats the one. You did that on -8AN? I may actally change my filters first to see if that isnt the problem, because they were used when i got them, and have ran them for 2 years.

I have to give a huge thanks to corpserodeo666 for helping me with this build, and having my sister car

i will check voltage of the pump tomorrow but i highly doubt thats the problem, and the battery is a brand new red top, i know its perfect.

I just bought a nasty nate fuel cell that i was planning on installing this winter. I will most likely wait till then to redo the fueling lines and return. However what are you guys recommending? -12AN all the way up? what return? Are the edelbrock fuel rails large enough?

Yep 8an has held up so far. I think I'm on the edge even tough I haven't seen a problem yet. I run 100psi though , like 60 at idle but in boost I'm at 100.
Even though it may not ur problem but watch out running your gas low because that pump will heat the fuel way up and it starts cavatating (I can't spell) and it'll go lean on you. I guess the fuel cools the pump and apparently that pump gets a lot hotter on higher fuel pressure settings whiich I use on my e85 setup. It'll happen Really bad on a hot day,I think magnafuel recommends atleast 5 gals in your take at all time cause of this. I have a fuel pressure gauge in my dash and i watch that thing like a hawk when I get to like a 1/8 tank. But if you don't your hear the pump change tones here and there sometimes and that's why it does that.

me personally i would go with -10 feed and then use the -8 you already have as a return... unless you plan on goin well over 1000rwhp on e85 i dont think you need -12 feed

starts spooling around 2500-2700 and hits full boost at about 4300-4500. Thats a ruff estimate.
