I've never understood 3" crossovers...I'd think you'd want to keep the velocity/pressure up.
I don't think the no intercooler thing is going to kill you persay, but you'll hit the edge or limit of detonation faster obviously. E85 helps (cooler), but its not straight alcohol and EFI is a lot different than a carb. With the low pressure fueling from a carb the intake runner is cooled much more (liquid fuel in there) than with EFI. Just saying.

Do you have any larger pics? I'm hurting my eyes staring at tiny pics lol. (At least that's all that's coming up for me)
Also...are you completely ruling out an intercooler? Just asking out of curiousity as I'm interested in finding out your results sans IC and maybe post IC if you acquire one.

Is this a max effort/max boost combo? If not, and he was happy with performance at say....15psi.. would this 94mm make cooler boost than a 76mm at 15psi? Would it be about the same power?

Got the whole downpipe fitted up last night, as well as snapped some shots of the battery relocation, and pushoff. The kit is a Burkheart kit, with a aerospace box. I was going to do a how to to make it easy on someone who has never done one, but my computer dumped the 50 pictures, and **** i took in the process, o well. Also still waiting on a V-band clamp for the hotside, so i didnt weld any pieces together, but you get the idea.
Also got the rearend out yesterday, its heading over to Burkhearts to get a new gear (3.42) and the other one sitting there is ReggieWarrenJr's. He is gonna get it freshened and take my old 3.90 gear.

Today im getting the radiator braced up better, and making a upper facsia support. All parts for my motor should be here next week, and I just filled out a cam spec sheet and sent it to VA Speed, so hopefully by the end of next week all my motor parts will be ether here, or on their way

Why is everyone so bent on him not running an intercooler? The turbo is huge, it could probably generate 1000hp and not make much heat.

Got a camshaft picked out and on the way. The EPP FI cam. Also on the way is some comp cam lifters. Along with some PRW roller rockers. Engine should be going together real soon, just waiting on the pistons from wiseco. Going to finish up the DP and some bracing tomorrow then I will post up some more pictures of the completed kit.

Got the top fascia support, and and the radiator support done last weekend. I will post up pick in a while. Going to finish the DP and brace it up then do all the final welding to the intake, and crossover this weekend. Trying to keep the alternator in the stock location down low, so i will be cutting the manifold on the drivers side short, and welding a v-band on soon. If anyone has advice on that please chime in.
Afco double adjustables all the way around should be on soon, as well as a Burkheart manual rack.

My digital camera took a poop on me, so i havent taken any new pictures. But got all the fabrication done and have the front end apart. Waiting on my motor to be completed then put it in. Ran into a few small snags lately. One being where the hell i am mounting my alternator. The other being where the hell i am putting a trany cooler....
