we are running 28/10.5's. a1000 in the tank with -10 feed and -8 return. we modified the stock truck rails to accept the larger fittings. hope to do some more testing next week. took the truck out last saturday and still having some suspension issues. ran a 6.16@110 with 1.35 60's but mph and 330 was down. 330 was down .15. so i don't know if the torque converter is going or what just yet.

I think its awesome how long some of these engines are surviving by keeping the temps down with nitrous, meth and e85 especially at these power levels. Some very inspirational builds lately. Keep up the good work man. Guys like you and Skinnies make me want to make a room to keep stock longblocks in. Lol.

My buddy has a full weight 70mm front mount, cam only z28 that runs 6.90s at 102 on 6lbs with a phantom rod knock..I think its rod knock because it goes away under boost. Its been knocking for over a year..we are trying to make it blow up..it just won't. Still has 65-70psi oil pressure. These motors are hellarious. Nice build!

we should have some good feedback after this weekend. we haven't been to the track much lately due to weather and suspension trouble. we are going to a good 1/8 mile track for a street car race so hopefully everything will go better. my comments on the 1/8 mile to 1/4 mile stuff is you have to run what is convenient for you. we run 1/4 on the street so i know it will live. its just not worth it to me to drive 3-4 hours to get a time slip in the 1/4 when i can run 1/8 5 miles down the road to my local track. since some of you say 1/8 don't count and some say the 2600lb rx7 does, we are going to stuff my combo in a 1500lb dragster next month and really set the record on fire. as i read in another thread about the rx7, it was said that when your going for records like this, there are no rules.

Well we had alot better luck last night. We won the race and ran a best of 5.83 @ 121 with 1.33 60 and 3.76 330. Track was good. Will have videos and time slim posted soon. Howlin is still in the bed i guess. Lol. $400 motor lives a little longer.

not sure on 1/4 mile times. low 9's high 8's maybe. we run right at 25lbs of boost. we are not leaving as hard as in the first video. those passes we were leaving around 4400. now we leave on about 3500 and 12lbs of boost. going to try another converter next to see if it picks up any. here is a vid of a 5.96 pass at 121 from my buddies go pro camera from a qualifying pass sat night. he ran a low 6 on this pass. he has a carbed ls with nitrous. his car as been a 5.59. trying to get the 83 pass to load up.

Nice times. Good to see the motor hold up to that much power. I'm going to run a 5.3 with a 75mm turbo with 10-12psi in a 68 Camaro hoping to run mid 10s in the 1/4. The only formula I know to convert 1/8 to 1/4 is the NHRA formula of 1/8mile x 1.57 but don't know how accurate it is but it comes out to a 9.15 but I would think a turbo car would pick up more on the big end than a N/A setup.
