Jim's Lexus build is here:

I drove it part way back to Omaha, it is a great platform for the LS swap.

It actually has 18 injectors, 8 gas and 10 e85. It transfers to the e85 injectors under boost. But run on the little gas injectors mostly.

This is a very interesting setup. So what are the IAT's through the traps after it switches to E85? I considered ditching the IC on my car, but if wasn't sure if just straight E85 was enough to keep the IAT's down.
**edit** - I reread your reply and I think you are saying the sensor was maxed out shortly after leaving the line?

Id kinda like to know what the actual curb weight is on that car because it has pro stars on the front, dont know if the kmember has been changed or what ever. Not saying that the car is a gutted out flyweight but my stock mustang didnt weigh 3400 when i got it but after taking some weight out of it like back seat tires stuff like that made a diffrence. Now final weight on my car was 2890 with me in it. Svo block, Full grigs gr-40 suspention and torque arm, Power glide, Two front seats no back seats no body chopping but with a fiber glass hood. 600 lbs is a pretty big difference. No doubt your setup is bad *** but thats alot of power for a stock bottom end. Now if its a stock block but rods and pistons i can see it doing that all day long.
Whats your gearing and what rpm are you twisting it to?

To us in this site a Stock Bottom End means, a stock block, stock rods, and stock pistons along. Rod bolts and head studs are up in the air, but the general stock bottom end guideline is that each block will have stock rods/ pistons and crank in them. Mines has done it for 20k miles and since 2006. ALthought that's only 640rwhp it's help up fine with good gas at the track, and meth injection.

Fbj no I'm new to the site that's why I'm looking to fill a few of the gray areas that don't make sense to me. I'm not tryn to dumb down the build or anything but just trying to understand a few things.

I wondered this...but to me it seems like it would be the same thing if you are injecting it into the intake manifold where the stock injectors are? Could be totally wrong though.

Very impressive, but i'm going to add something here that i'm surprised nobody has mentioned yet, please change the converter in that car!!!! If you're only gaining 26 mph out the back door on a turbo car at that that level I can't even imagine how horribly inefficient that converter must be and you're leaving quite a bit on the table!

yeah, I cant wait to see what the rx7 does next time out. I do feel we are in for a surprise though.
I can tell you I know about 5 serious contenders about to come out of the wood work for the stock block record, and I personally know two of them. one even runs the same megasquirt/msd6010 system as op.
definitely a fun time to be an ls1 turbo enthusiast.
atomic 6, question. how do you set up boost timing retard on the 6010?

Since nobody had taken the record I just have the rx7 sitting in the garage, haven't touched it since it came apart last fall. I got my front mustang suspension to go under it, and am planning on a 25.3 full chromoly chassis under it, but that will have to wait. I think it'll be back together shortly just as it was last year to make some hits, but this time with my billet 76 making a lot more power. I'll see what it does, it won't have the weight out of it(can pull 100lbs of fuel out of it easily, but that is it) or the better suspension setup, but I still think I can take the record back.
Guess I will add a save my *** bar under the front incase it puts it on the bumper again. ![The Patriot !!](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_patriot.gif)

i for one like to see folks continually raise the bar and find the limits. it helps us common people know what to do and sometimes even more importantly, what not to do.
so, i wanna see you raise the bar, but dont take too big a chunk out of it
cos thats just gonna discourage folks, especially us 4.8 guys
