The car will run 11.20-30s no problem, problem is getting to a 1/4 mile track before it starts getting hot - steele is a fast low elevation track and is usually open all year except they closed in january for repairs and no one knows when they will open. Might just tow up to bowling green this weekend.
MPH is great but wont win a drag race, if I hurry I can be #1 with 440rwhp
Oops, didnt even realize the SBSO was this weekend, I'm sure someone with an FI car will run fairly quick there - oh well, my dreams are shatterd

Yep... get 'er while ya can.
I've been out of town too much to get my Superdamper/ATI 8-rib on and crank pinned. LS1Speed psych'd me out on my rails/lines/fittings order, but they are SUPPOSED to have the regulator in the mail. Mabye I can do what bruh-man did for a while until I can get a full fueling solution.

I still have about 3 weeks befor my local opens! doh, looks like i'll never be # 1 either.
be nice to be in the top 10 again this year. i do see more fi 6 speed cars that have a shot, lst year the top 5 where turbo 400 cars. i was the fastest 6 speed.
now Rob,Harlan, MM, me,??? are 6 speeds.COOL!!!

as do i. i think that is pretty cool.
Not to easy, but cool. I know how hard the shifting thing can get. Shifting my car at 6400, first gear (on the street that is for now) is almost instant!!!!

After doing the trans/clutch/hyraulics dance all last year with the heads/cam I gave up. Running the car at the track once or twice a week takes its toll..
There are going to be some great running cars out there, I'm curious to see what the big turbo cars will do. I'm sure Mike (black LS1 t/a) and S_J_H will do pretty well also - you never know, maybe PSJ will even go down the track PSJ has some pretty stout numbers through an unlocked TH400 and a 9"

When the weather breaks that will change, I'm going to try to make the N vs S race in June and I hope to see some fast FI cars there - I'll just bracket race mine unless I'm the only FI car there, then I think I can win it
I could crank mine up a few PSI but I make ~250-300 passes a year (I'm at 51 already since the end of january) plus drive to most of the bigger car shows around here so I want the stock engine to last a while

mike, I went in jan to atco but I ran on a broken tranny. went 11.0 at 130.70, I was kinda of embarrassed to post it, but big mike was there and saw the sorry a$$ run...Im hopeing to make it back to the track this weekend and see if the trany issues are figures out.
