Stg 5 80e----currently being assembled and should be on its way soon. Its a late core, and has a bigass trans cooler, fittings, and lines coming with it. Comes in black too

The Dual Valvesprings have shipped. PRC .675

The 60-80e swap harness is on its way from frost.

The K member is taking a good bit longer than I anticipated, but is being powder coated and ships early on mon-tues.

Got my cutout on the way too! 3 inch qtp with wireless remote controller.

Other than fuel and suspension and tune, I am ready.

And I am runnin the spal extreme 16'' with no condensor to worry about it should do good. Almost flows 3000cfm

just watching the clock at this point.

Got the 80e swap harness in. Neatly packaged, and with instructions. Frost went out of his way to take care of a shipping issue for me that was in no way his fault, and turned out not to be an issue at all.

Talked with Jake and his wife the other day. He had the trans on the table assembling away. Decided not to rush him, and told him to take his sweet *** happy time. Good work is slow/steady work in most cases.

The Spal Extreme is in. I touched the blade and it sliced my finger up pretty good. Spal says its not for street use. We will see about that. 10,000 hour lifespan on the motor. And not to run it for more than 30 minutes per there own Tech support. The motor on them is apparently not sealed. Allows them to spin harder or something/cool down.

Also, I finally got my MWC K member in. I saved some dough and got the mild steel. It was only a 2lb difference from the CM, and Eric said that for cars that are on the street a good bit, that it would be better in the long haul. Great welds, and came in at 20lbs.

I just need to find out where I personally need to place the trans brake button. Been considering the window switch panel or near the traction control button, or just use the traction control button possibly.

Not sure if I will run the cutout right after one of the headers, or in the I pipe. I pipe sounds easier. and that would be a 3 inch exhaust setup up till that point.

I'm really loving your build! Wish I could swing it but I have wife a kid and another on the way lol . Goal for this year is to slowly accumulate parts. I will have some good updates soon. I have the 3.4 pulley on and it screams :-) stock block FTW

your build is the one to be admired. yours is what I was originally after. A stock bottom end with a maxed out D1 that just wont die. I wanted to beat the **** out of the stock motor. Give me time to buy the new one and have it on standby.

Your car is badass dude and its amazing what it puts up with. RPM/ Frans96ss has a red corvette that makes over 700rwhp and has for over 10k miles and will not blow up and gets beat on all the time. From the best I can tell from examining all the data, and talking with alot of people about the problems I was having before I put it on the dyno, was that the head was lifting slightly above 6400-6550 rpm and spraying coolant. I could not figure out what was going on when that happened. It would leak on the driveway, but never stain. At the time I just swapped the pinion seal, and the valve cover gaskets, and it would stop(i thought) But 160+ mph runs took there toll, and it was ready to go when we put the mojo to it. I cant believe it was making that much boost with a 4.13 pulley at that rpm. I am guessing it would have made 15-17lbs all told. I think a good head gasket swap, and some studs are in order for anyone looking to procharge a stock motor, especially that is going on 10-13 years old. haha.

I ran that car hard as hell. At the strip every weekend. Dyno tuning, huge burnouts, cannoball runs. I doubt I will be as careless with it now. 400rwhp does not demand quite as much respect as 8-9.

I went over the logs and the AFR was 11.2 and looked like this _______________________________________________ through out the run. The timing was 17 degrees and the methanol came on at 4 lbs and was set to level 8. 100% duty cycle in around 8-9. I had 93 shell, and air inlet temps were great.

Got my wireless cutout setup today. Going to be shweeeeeeeeeet.

Lock the car.
Wait for someone to walk by, and look/stare/listen.
Open the cutout, from nearby.

Plus from my experience a cutout makes a car sound lopey even when the cam doesn't have the LSA for it.

itll b lopey if you have the exhaust duration and lift for it . u can always hear a cam better with no muffler, or exhaust tubing to deaden the sound. its gonna sound bad *** dude. im contemplating on buying dual cut outs for each of my down pipes and dump them by the front fenders. >

how much were the wireless ones?

Trans shipped today! got my tracking number and could not be happier with the serivce. Lots of communication and patience in dealing with me from Jakes Performance. I am pretty picky, and bad about changing things at the last minute as a result of constant research of other setups.

I am not going to post again until we begin assembling.

It is the ATI race 1300hp FMIC

27.5 x 12 x 4.5 W/H/D

3.5 tube diameter.

Its a pretty big piece. they are pretty expensive, but when you get it with the kit its more of a bargain. I have seen some of them hold back alot of flow from the blower, and people having issues getting PC to acknowledge that and swap them to a vertical one. Some have had boost leaks at the welds, but I have seen similar issues with Cx and others. I will be measuring before and after the IC to see how much I lose.

Are they room for a bigger one? If so please give the measurements.

I think the other one that bob was using back @ EPP was a 31x12x4 from Cx racing. about the same size id guess and definitely cheaper.
