Really impressive Nate. Suspension is working! And the track had to have been like glue!

Track surface only got up to 62 degrees but since those guys run events like King of the Streets, they know what to do. Fire, spray, drag, motion me up to run.

Well since it is winter here in MN it wouldn't be proper to just put the car in storage and wait. Its MOD SEASON!

Not tooo much is going to change but I did sell the headers that were on the car and will be experimenting with building a set of equal length and possible stepped primaries. Will also be going through the car taking more weight off ounce by ounce.

Also contemplating taking the car back to sleeper status and putting some aluminum ralleys on it.

And a random shot from Drag Weekend.

Do the ralleys, but don't sell the current setup. There is a time and place for both.

I know you enjoy fabrication/building as much as racing the car.... but if the Ohio boys went 200mph on stock truck manifolds in the 1/4.... don't you think you would benefit more from a better block if you want to really make more power?

Or are you going to go nuts in 2016 and run 7's?

If only I could afford it. That's one of those snowball items... block, then crank, rods, heads, cam, turbo, pro gear, beadlocks, etc. If nobody ever pushed the limits we'd still think sbe ls' are restricted to 600whp. My engine builder (Jakson) and I have a few tricks ready to try to go 7's. Haven't ran ALL the boost yet. No transbrake yet. Weight to take off etc. I want to see the limits of the parts I have.

Curious about the intake-Holley has one like that now, with their logo, and a guy on Ebay has the same w/o a logo-I wonder if the same guy is building all of them

Mine was built by Precision Metalcraft in the USA, not the same **** being welded up by 12 year olds in a china factory and marketed by ebay sellers, Holley, etc.

Ya, it's tough to really know what you're getting with those pictures they show on the ebay ads.
I really wanted one of those intakes, then I watched a video of one that literally flexed and deformed under engine load. It looks like they're made with some pretty thin material. I'd even be scared to run it under boost.

I'll save you the trouble of wondering. You're getting a piece of **** intake and contributing to the problem of everything being outsourced out of this country.
