1997 Corvette original Ls1 block. Been working on the car for like 5 years now. The project gets bigger and more complicated as I go. Think I will start finishing it instead of finding ways to prolong it for a few more years. There are countless custom one off parts at this point the short list is what is not.
Here is a rundown of what I can remember:

Original numbers matching block
Block honed .005" over
Align bored Mains
Decked
3.622 stroke crank turned .010" and micro polished
Clevite 77 rod and main bearings
ARP main studs
Mahle .005" over flat top forged pistons -16cc CNC dome
Mahle ultra flat low drag iron rings hand gapped for turbocharger
Eagle forged steel 6.125" H-Beam rods w/ ARP rod bolts
Balanced and blueprinted rotating assembly

Rollmaster double timing chain and sprocket
Ported and polished oil pump. High pressure spring

Comp cam Part# 54-446-11
Grind# LS1 XER281HR-12
.595 Lift, 281 Dur Intake
.598 Lift, 283 Dur Exhaust
RPM Range: 2,400 to 7,200 rpm
Duration @ .050" lift: 232 Intake, 234 Exhaust
Design for standard displacement LS1 and LS6.

All I can say is WOW!!!! That motor looks too nice to put in a car, I would set it on my living room and put a piece of glass on top.......

Whats the reason for shifting the alternator back? Also any plans for a kit?

Very nice build,I have something similar in mind.Perhaps I could discuss a few things with you ? My engine is already done,trans done,C6Z conversion just need to finalize front mount setup.
