Here's the latest belt line for the sandrail kit. It's for the vet belt line which will keep the supercharger belt line as close to the block as possible. This is what I'll be using. Hopefully I won't have any crank issues with this setup.

I'm building a 4.5L whipple LS right now. It should be ready sometime this Fall. Max effort build going in a Fox Body coupe for a Drag Week project.

Bondobird,
Are you using the 4.0 sand rail intercooler?

I'm using the latest setup they have. I got the kit a couple of months ago from Mike.

The 4.0 and 4.5 both use the same heat exchanger. But there is an upgrade that can be used on either. It's 2 inches taller. I'm not sure which core I'll be running yet. It all depends whether or not I can get the throttle body to clear my firewall without a 2 inch spacer under the discharge plate. If I need the spacer, then I'll run the big core. If not, the standard core should be more than efficient enough for my setup. I won't be spinning the blower very fast

I made a wedge spacer to kick my t/b up towards the cowel area clearing the firewall.

I'll post a pic later. I'm going to get as large of a fitting into the intercooler as I can even if I have to drill it out... if that's possible. And I'll run e85 which will help and I'm going to see if I can plumb some extra injectors towards the rotors at the T/B area. I know from other builds I've done that having the fuel go through the rotors has a huge effect on blower drive heat.

Here is a mock up pic and the T/B wedge spacer I made to deal with the firewall problem.

Wow! Just wow! That's gonna be one nasty fox. How much power are you looking to make?
Oh and yeah, fuel through the blower would take up to 50% of the heat out of the blower. That would work well if you make it work

Thanks!... As for power, I'm going to get as much power out of it as I can. I'll start with a 25lb pulley and go up from there.

Well blower only should be capable of 1500-1600hp at the fly. It'll be awesome to see what you get out of it.

Any goal as far as ET goes? There are heavier cars going 7's with that blower on a mod ford. I'd imagine in a light weight fox and more torque from the LS, you should be in the 7's easy if you're gonna max the blower out

Yes, 7's is the goal, for sure. When I started this project I told myself I'd be happy with a 8's... but that was a lie. I pulled a new 8 second motor out of this car to start this project.

Kurt
Kurt,
I think you made this pulley setup. Did you use any specific year as a starting point for the pulley setup?

How much additional room is needed at the rear compared to an MP112? This is an MP12 in mine, but I'd like to put something larger on the new Dart build. I can remove an area 4" back towards the firewall and about 7" wide to gain additional clearance.
