I called Viren (VS Racing) yesterday, he said this turbo is about 4 weeks away from being available. Pretty cool stuff! Excited for results from the master turbo tester !

Badass. Would you recommend that turbo in a 4.8 with a turbo cam? Would like to eventually upgrade to a bigger engine but it's what i have. Keep up the good work. Im a huge fan.

Didn't the other turbo make 580 at around the same boost?

Did the smaller cam work better?

Looking back, I think it made 608 initially on 10psi, and then made 550 on 11psi through the complete exhaust, and 585 on 11psi with the exhaust dumped.

There are a ton of variables here though, like a completely different engine plus the already mentioned cam difference. This will be interesting stuff as usual from the Denmah!

Interested to see how quickly it transitions from no boost to cookin. What is the Turbine Wheel diameter and housing? T6 or T4 and what A/R? I love the idea of a responsive S480 on a 6.0L.....

I think the S480 has a history of REALLY waking up once you get to 15-20 psi.

That S480 isn't even working at 10 psi. Mine really seems to wake up once it gets to 15 psi or so.
