Denmah, you are an inspiration to all LS enthusiast's. Please keep up your fantastic fun.. you should be getting free motors from gm to test for them.

GM already knows how good the LS platform is! (I get what you're sayin though).

There's definitely more to be had there. The big run was richer than it needed to be... obviously since the 2nd stage blew off. Black smoke right before he lifted, as well as at the hit.

I think the 950ish that was had before, on a overly lean tune, vs 850ish now (w/o nitrous) may be directly related to fueling. Way safe rich now. Would like to see the results of turbo only with a dialed in tune. And then nitrous on top of that, well tuned and dialed in.

It's cool seeing what the nitrous adds to the top end numbers. I'd also be interested in seeing the nitrous used to cover the lag, both on dyno and street driving vids. Tapering off, 2 stages, to single, then all off as boost builds. Or just one stage if that's all it takes. How much of an instant response can it create vs. waiting for boost to build. It may be best to do it at 5psi for the street driving stuff. I'd like to see, back to back, a stab off idle or low rpm cruise, with and without nitrous. Just have it turn off at target boost, or whatever.

I'd really appreciate seeing the runs with RaceRender.

Congrats!

Wondering if you found the limit flow wise of that intercooler. Probably holding you back quite a bit at those levels. Treadstone IC upgrade maybe? Would be an awesome comparison. Wish I had better data, but changing form that same china IC to a treadstone made a big difference on my setup at around the same boost. Could you plumb your fuel pressure transducer pre-IC to see what kind of pressure drop you are seeing across the core?

If vote's are being taken... I'd enjoy seeing this data too.

On the low boost nos shot pull ( 1min13 seconds) look at the drivers door there
A leak then too... so it would have made more power.. wow

Congrats to breaking the 1000 rwhp barrier. Thats pretty insane, but I'm sure I don't have to tell you that there is a big difference between a dyno pull that last only a few seconds to making a full run at the track. So now that you know it will live at WOT for a few seconds.....what are the plans for the track? Are you going to try to run it at this power level? There have been some SBE cars on methanol above this power level, but I'm not sure any of them have ever survived past the 1/8th mile, which in their case was sub 5 seconds of full power.

I really hope you give this a go at the track and see what it acts like.

Awesome to see you get over the 1k level. I'm curious if you can get to that level without the Nitrous...

Do you think you would try to push it there without it?

Congrats!

It is tough to suggest adding more boost at this point given the improved air density with the nitrous. Jacking up the boost to make 1000rwhp is probably "safer" on paper - yet it is hard to deny the benefits of the NAWZ in this application with the reduced intake air temps (making the compressed air that much more efficient).

Meh, just do what you want, run a number at the track, and report back...

Really seems like it’s not making the power per pound anymore. I think there’s a bottle neck somewhere at this point… Pushing more boost will just break things IMO. Don’t think it’s the turbo. Bet it’s the IC. Sure people have made more power on a junky IC. But they had more cubes and or more capable turbo(s) as well. To get the best out of those parts at 800+whp, I can’t see the **** poor china IC being up to the task... been wrong before though!

Nitrous definitely puts more oxygen on the right side of the restriction.

I wonder if the power/psi is showing lower now due to reduced timing for the nitrous?
