Its hard for me to be offended by a guy that has a wicked fast "real street car" that's turbo'd and traps 123mph. Gonna have to get your weight way up to even have a shot at offending me. I trapped 125 on 7lbs with a broken v band on my crossover. On 13-14 psi like the car is now it’ll probably go a little faster. You’d probably still beat me, but whoopie. There’s always someone faster. And I’m ok with that. It’s all in what you/I want and like. I like a nice quiet comfortable car. You like a rattle trap car with a three speed that limits how much you like to drive it. That’s cool too. No worries. I don’t want a race car, you do. So I hope you would beat me. Because if I beat you with my 4l60e.....I’d never let you live that down. Lol.

What it do out the back? Im pretty sure if I drove it like I didn't need to drive it home, it would be a little different. I try to walk the thin line of running a good number, and living to fight another day.
Well I don’t feel so bad I’ve been 6.58 with a da around 2000 with a slow sbe procharged GTO with a 4l60e lol.
Bottom end, and transmission isn't what makes a car fast. It can definitely affect longevity though, and in the case of the 60e, well..... just stroll through the transmission section.

I drive mine to and from the track and it’s a GTO with a 4l60e. If I had an 80e and built motor I’d max out the D1x. Coulda shoulda woulda if...lol...we’re all messing with you now.

I’ve had good luck with 60e’s, but haven’t owned anything over 700 rwhp “yet”. One was a 408 with nitrous and now cam only with a D1x. First one was still strong when I sold the car in 2008 and still going strong when that guy sold the car a few years ago. It didn’t have the nitrous on it when I sold it and he never raced it though.
Going to do my best. Im going to ramp it in sooner, been laying into it at the '60. Going to lean on the car a bit harder tomorrow. Plus I've got some grudge action, I really need to win!

I'm racing this tomorrow, I've rode in it, and although it's been low 10s with the 5 speed, I'm certain it's an 8 second car with the glide/two step/brake he just installed.
