Oh...a 6.0 Ls1, Not really sure what would even fit that. But I must say, that's a pretty wild deal you have there. A 6 0 Ls1 that makes 1500rwhp.

What intake would you recommend for my 1501whp 427 LS1?

Plazmaman, Shaun's alloy, Frankenstein has a new billet piece as well.

CID with an All Pro elbow would be a good choice as well. Those are best of the best.

A stock LS1 manifold. They are cheap, fairly tough and the intake flow doesn't matter because with that much turbo anything will work. That's what I'm gonna go with on my 454 LS1 Turbo project.

Default LS-1/2 ITB's Bellmouth

Hi First Class, the best turbo intake for spool/torque/HP is my 65mm ITB intake manifold. This is due to the large "bell-mouth" inlet and large tapered runner.
The runner is offset in the direction to enhance Swirl. The pressure waves inside the runner will be stronger than N/A due to the MORE DENSE runner air. (15 .lbs = 1.5 Density Ratio)
The fuel injector is placed HIGH in the runner, over top of the butterfly.
This injection point, when fuel spray occurs, will "shrink" or cool the air as it travels down the port by removing latent heat making the air more dense.
The eight butterflies being close to the inlet valve, when throttled, keep out exhaust gases stopping them from entering the other cylinders as is with a common plenum. This effect allows much faster Spool.

I have testimonials if asked ?

Never thought an Aluminum SBE LS1 could stay together with that Terbo at 1500+HP???
Maybe it's Stroked to 540 cubes?

If the 6.0 is making 1500hp, I'd say it's already got the right intake on it.

Your right there, and that would be intake that somehow holds the heads on the block

It's not 1,500 rwhp guys, it's 1,500 PLUS rwhp. We could be talking maybe 1,700. Through a six speed. Seems like if you know how to get 1,500 + out of a 6.0 and know how to make a 6speed live behind it you should already know a lil' somethin about intakes.

You gonna upgrade that rear? The stock 10 bolt probably wont live to long behind that kind of power.

Also, I think SLP sold a bolt in roll bar, it's something that you may want to consider at these power levels.

Just so we are all on the same page. Can you get that SLP roll bar in Chrome? I mean we are talking about the BEST stuff here.

GT40 Intake, with a B-cam. Would be my choice for this application. Maybe with some aluminum 113 Heads. Those are the L98 HO heads for the C4 Vettes with the TreeFiddies! That would be a killer combo. This is the combo I run on my V-Tec! I run 3.98 in the 1/4!

This bad Mamba Jamma got 3 sec's off my times,
