Finally sharing my build…
Still need to work on that 60’ time… but, I’m getting good data and know some of the changes I need to make in the tuneup.
Round 1 loss to the #1 qualifier on a double breakout. But, 8.40@168 is a new PB for me, so, there’s that…
28psi with 14 dome. 12 degrees of timing. 250 degrees air temp
The car is super stable and as the boost comes in, it pulls hard. Then the parachute comes out and throws me into the harness…

data shows 10psi at 4100 transbrake release. Immediately drops 5 degrees of timing at the release and brings it back in within 1.5 seconds.

Why are you pulling any timing at all on the hit? Looking at that 60' you can certainly hit it harder and I feel like using any timing retard on release is a last resort when you can't get it under control.
Since it sounds like you are using a race timer and CO2 for boost control, where is boost all in?
so, with no dome pressure, it makes 10psi on the brake - 4100rpm. The ramp from 0 to 14 starts at 1 second and is fully in by 4.2 seconds.
Clearly, I can push it harder. That’s what testing is for.
Also, I don’t need 28psi to run the 8.50 index.
For my next pass, I’ve eliminated the timing pull at launch, and changed the ramp to be all in by 2.5 seconds, but only 10 on the dome.
And, then go from there…
If it’s still too quick after the changes I mentioned above, I’ll try that.
Test - read data, adjust
Test - read data, adjust
Test - read data, adjust
That’s the only way to learn what the car wants…

I do need to weigh it again, as I’ve changed a few things around.
I plan to take it back to Fark’s over the winter for a few upgrades.
I've been kinda working the same way as Pete, we started with a 2 second ramp, and chopped that to 1.5 after two passes, and now I'm around 1.2.
