Whats up guys? I just joined the forum today, i like what i have seen so far. I had a question for anyone out there who has some experience with prochargers. I am looking to buy either a D-1SC (includes only a fuel pump) or P-1SC-1 (includes fuel pump, programmer, and fuel injectors). I was wondering which would be the better buy and give me the most performance, keep in mind this is going to be a daily driver.

I had a P1SC on a Mustang and I eventually upgraded to the D1SC blower. Plus I did not get the kit with the fuel pump and 3 core intercooler at the time and when I bought them at a later time is was much more expensive. Get it all done and done right the first time IMO

You will probably be happy with either the P1SC or the D1SC.
The D1SC has much more potential should you decide you want to go faster in the future.
The D1 is only a couple of hundred more than the P1 upfront or over $1,000 should you decide to upgrade it down the road.
Also because you use a larger pulley on the D1 for stock motors you reduce stress on the head-unit (meaning it will last much longer).
Lastly, you do *not* need a forged motor to run a D1SC provided you don't get crazy with the boost and you run a good tune.
Cheers,
Mark

The only difference that i know about is the D-1 has a different impeller and different bearings from the P-1. If you get the P-1 if you ever want to upgrade to the D-1 it will cost you $ 1,200. Then all Pro Charger does is replace the impeller and the bearings to make it a D-1.
