Default What color are pacesetters????????

Ordered some painted longtubes a couples months ago and was wondering if they are supposed to be black? I think they sent me coated ones

The painted ones are black. The coated ones are shiny. But they don't stay shiny for long unfortunately.

they stay painted black until you reach operating temps for about 5 minutes... ahhahahaha

yes so I guess I got coated headers for the price of painted ones. Can't be any happier!!!!!!!!! Or should I return them??????????? lol

Paid the $275 price of the painted race headers over the intenet. Guess they made a mistake or something on my order

you should return them and get the black ones that you paid for. Just joking keep them.They make a error in your favor. I guess you have nothing bad to say about them.

huh? My coated ones stayed shiny for a year and had literally like only 5 tiny dots of surface rust before I sold the car. Looked like the day I put them on more or less.

I wish all of you luck with future painted header purchases and hope they make mistakes on every order for all of you ls1tech.com users with coated ones.

Personally, I would have called them up and told them they sent the wrong ones, and then they would have probibly gave a good discount on your next purchase for correcting their mistake or something like that instead of making them lose money. In my books, I call that stealing. They made a mistake, so you shouldnt capitalize on it. I bet you wouldnt like it if you were in their shoes and you lost money.

You didnt pay for them, so why keep them? Do the right thing if they arent already installed..
