That sounds like a good plan. There are plenty of good write ups on here, would be nice to have them put into a central location.

For each page you want to save, go to "File" (should work for most web browsers) and "Save HTML". works for me all the time.

Dosent that just save the location of the page? Can I save the data from the page onto my computers memory?

It saves the page entirely as an HTML file, so you can open it up on your computer even when you're offline and view it through your browser.

I think that we just need to start our own knowledge base by copying the ls1 how to pages (with permission of course) and also adding our own writeups with pics. I think this would greatly decrease the amount of common asked questions, and it would allow the board to have a library of "how to" files. these knowledge bases would always be there for everyone to look at and use and this would prevent you from having to try and search for a thread that is 8 months old. Why we haven't set something like this up already I don't know. I also believe that pics are critical for these "how, too's" and are very helpful for visual learners like myself.

oh yea, pics are a must have.

To save the page, just click file, save as, and that's pretty much it. If i see something i like; i create a folder for each vehicle. Changing speakers, stereos, certain components, it's hard to remember but now i always have a reference and i don't have to search for it again.
