I always get complements on my done up SC400 Lexus... Never one bad comment from anyone, domestic or import car owners.... I also always get the Vette's and Vipers trying to race me..

I do get **** on the forums though but not in real life..

I didn't buy it for them, and I didn't buy it because of what someone else thinks about it.

Yes, sometimes.... from my brother He calls it a huge moneywaster and when I have an issue with it he just says "heh, it's a camaro" as if that is a good reason why I have a problem. He says he knows all about them since he had two 3rd gens. Well, yes, mine is a moneypit as it was abused before I got it and it just seems to like breaking a lot, but his 3rd gens were both well abused and old pieces too. He's got it in his head a Camaro = crap now or something.

He used to buy domestic but now he's all import-crazy, acts like domestics are junk because he has this nissan SUV that he "has no problems at all with" but seems to conveniently forget that it is only a couple years old with much, much less miles on it compared to his old 3rd gens he had or my Camaro.

Whatever.

I don't know about you guys but I always have guys in diesel trucks wanting to race and blow smoke on my car....Maybe its cuz i live in the country..They always get smoked so i don't know why they want to **** witha car in a truck hahaha

I bought my car because it was cheap, and it had everything I wanted. I can't say I care too much of what others think of it. I hate imports with a passion, most of them anyway. They're allowed to hate me right back if they want.

I bought my car for me, not for anyone else. They didn't fork up the money, now did they?

I never get snide remarks. I see alot of heads turn, probably from the loud exhaust or everything on the car being black... lol

When I drove the TA around before the setup change, It had 243's, Trex Cam, Full Exhaust w/ no cats and a whole lot more - That was a LOUD car...I used to get old retired 60-70+ year old give me the nod, plus Gettysburg is a huge tourist town so every week I drove through town or around the battlefield in the summer it was new people, I never got anything but compliments.

Ocasionally but mostly by teenagers and older people who hate the sound. Jealousy is a bi*** I guess. Who really cares what other people think as long as you like it.

I got flack from my inlaws who were at the time future-inlaws about my car. I told them if they want to cough the money up they can have all the opinions they want, if they aren't going to pay for it to not say anything.

the only thing I really ever get is people asking me if its a ws6. Then when I tell them its not they assume its slow... so if anything they just make it easier for me lol

I get compliments most of the time. I'm also in the navy and last week some told me that my car looks like a sailors car.

I get the come quick from behind and tailgate people. nothing solves that quiker than yanking the e brake followed by burning rubber to scare the **** out of them.

i ve got a few compliments and few haters the one that i hated the most was the 2 guys that come in to work and said that ss outside was a clone because the roof and mirrors are black. That one pi$$ed me off i told him that cars have options when they come out only not so nice. Then i showed him the door jam and he didnt even now what he was looking for. That just hacked so bad because i wanted a ss for so long and finally got one and someone calls it a clone i have even verified with slp.

I have had a few people tell me my car is too loud and it hurts their ears, but it was mainly because I park in a parking garage and I've set off car alarms a few times when I was still catless. Other than that I've never heard a bad word, I'd say you've gotten a pretty rotten run of douchebags lately. It happens every once and a while.

I usually get the pleasure of college kids with big lifted diesels or the hardcore import guy in their 350z and g35 revving all out at me when they pull up to me at a stoplight... i dont have to prove a thing, 111lsa idle speaks for itself...
