Best way to ship an exhaust?
I'm buying an exhaust from a guy out of state, and he's having a tough time finding a box to ship it in. It's a catback with a y-pipe, and I've never shipped an exhaust so I have no clue where to find a box for it..
Any tips or advice would be appreciated.

Best way I can think of is to, wrap it with pallet wrap, strap it to a pallet or two with steel banding. Then have it sent fedex freight or CCX. That should work, but get a freight quote first. CCX does a good job but can be kind of pricey.

Most likely not worth it.

Have the seller check for a boxes at your local bicycle, appliance, or furniture store. These places get new models for their show rooms all the time, and have plenty of boxes to fit your need.

I did that too, used muffler with welded on pipes sold on ebay for $50, after I took it in to ship and they said over $100 I cut it up, threw it away, and refunded the buyers money.
