Default Roadtrip!!!

I will be driving my 98 Trans Am from Michigan to Florida for spring break, and I was wondering what maintanence you all would recommend. I just seafoamed my car and changed the oil. And I was planning on rotating the tires before I make the trip. Any suggestions would be much appreciated... Thanks

Iam going to Jacksonville, and goin with the g/f so hopefully wont pick up anything new lol... I will have to change the oil when I get back, and I will save the new O2's for when I get some LT's... How much are plugs? And are they very hard to change out? The car has 58,000 miles btw

i did my plugs/wires when I did the LT's so I'm not sure how much of a pain it would be to do with the stock ****. Just do the LT's before your trip. It helps gas milage

Me and a few friends are taking a road trip on spring break also from New Jersey to Florida, i would suggest not to get speeding tickets lol but besides that just change your oil and rotate your tires like you said. Bring a spare tire or a plug kit just incase. Good Luck! maybe ill see u on the way there lol

My buddies want to head down to M.I.A for Spring Break. Florida should be awesome for S.P , but I don't think I can put the miles on 'Da Bird.

I just do general maintenance before I put it on the road. Take 75 all the way down and then go from there depending on your destination.

Careful while your down in Duval Co. don't race anything.. those cats have some serious money behind their rides.. me and a friend went there in his older brothers twin turbo 98 camaro ss and got rocked by 2 civics and an NSX.. one of the civics had a full blown racing motor it rev'd to 11,000 rpms!!

i took my Z28 from MN to VA for work just because i wanted to ride in style haha i got 28mpg and no issues to speak of. I'd change the fluid in the rear before you leave maybe unless it's been done recently. Then oil, rotate tires, plugs wires if they haven't been done in a while. Fill up washer fluid and enjoy the drive i'm gonna have a job in Indianapolis sometime this summer and may take the Vette
