Default checking to see the interst of a "Burnout kit" ....

I wanted to see the interst and comments about a "Burnout kit i could put together and sell on here for $50-$70...

What is it?
It would be a complete kit with instructions that would allow you to spray (any liquid of your choice) on your tires befor/during a burnout at the push of a button!

Why?
To remove foreign objects and dirt from tires to ensre good traction
Less treadwear on tires during burnouts
More smokey burnouts
You could put die in the liquid to do colored burnouts

Just push the button and start smoking the tires!

I have been tossing the idea around for a while. Let me know any suggestions and/or interest! Not 100% sure on price yet... I MIGHT be able to do it cheaper!

I will be putting a kit together for my car next week and will make some videos!

Thanks guys!

They've already got water in the burnout pit at the track.

I wouldn't be interested, maybe some of the hardcore street racers though.

burnout kit is already made by quite a few manufacturers. they call them line locks. '

btw you cant have less treadwear with more smoke and once you roll forward from where the burnout was done you're gauranteed to pick up sand, pebbles etc.

He's talking about stuff that would spray on your tires before a burnout not a line lock.

Hmmm, to be honest its a good idea. Would I buy it, probably not to be honest, if I were to buy anything to "help" with a burnout its a line lock. I know this sprays before, but I don't street race much so its not a real concern to me.

This. And everything it implies.

I'm pretty sure I saw a car with a VHT setup in Hot Rod a while ago. Not sure how well it worked though.

We have burnout competitions every year where I live and a system like this with a little bleach would be killer. Get those videos

we did that a looong time ago by re routing the windshield washer squirter's to the rear tire well and just keeping the tank full up front and use the original washer switch.......minus the wire that activates the wipers

it was a factory option on chevelles back in the day believe it or not

made for spraying "traction compound" in northern states for winter driving...very very rare, I've never seen one only the brochure materials

it was either 69 or 70 model year IIRC
