Default haha... kids, this is what you DONT want to happen.

i was getting some loud detonation several hours prior to this happening. i guess it's my own fault. but hey. now i have a 6.0.

looks familar... my buddy broke the ringlands on 6 of his 8 pistons once the D1 went on...

i thought about gold plating it and making a chain out of it. but seriously..... i might make a trophy out of it or something. lol

Scorchy Scorchy. Sucks to hear that, My buddies father has a piston/rod out of his old blown BBC Vega at his shop, the ring lands are GONE and the rod is damn near bent in half.

the ring had jumped out of the hole. lol so it was on top of the piston. i'll get some better pics of the block when i go to the shop next.

as for the old engine it's trash. i'm selling the crnak and rods to my friend.

as for the new engine, i'm not going to do anything until i upgrade my drivetrain. the trans is about to die. i can feel it .lol

it has 2 cracks most of the way down the cylinder wall. they become more visible the farther down they go.
