cme exhaust

can someone please tell me why a piece of plastic with some exhaust tips are so expensive i mean the cme exhaust is nice but all you get is some plastic with two pieces of metal

I feel the same way, it is really cool, I'd love to buy it but it sure is way expensive. I would expect the fascia to cost around $150 and the tips no more than $250-$300 in a perfect world. That sounds competitive if not a little higher still.

It's simply that those pieces were never mass production,
it was all SLP's deal and they rape$ da booty when able. In
due time you can probably find the used parts. Unless some
other body beats you to it.
Seems to me like the price is in line with body kit stuff
(but I damn sure wouldn't pay retail). I like the muffler but
to tell you the truth I could be just as happy with turndowns
and put a Class 1 hitch in the CME pocket. Yee, haw.

cme IS expensive, i had a hard time deciding to get it or not when i was giving my car a facelift. I got it, and it was worth it. I dont have a lot of money to spend on my car, but im glad i saved for the setup.
i managed to get the valance, tips, 90 degree elbows for 500.
