You don't have $35 to have someone come unlock it for you?
Anyway I'd just try slipping a wire hanger or brake line through the window and try to hit the lock/unlock button. I would also buy a spare set of keys.

he is i locked my key in the other day and i tried pushing the button and it dident work i then used 2 home depot paint mixing sticks to pry the window open enough to stick a thin piece of metal about 3 feet long inside the car with a screw perpindicular to the metal so i could unlock it with the latch on the door. just got it lined up right then pushed over. It took time but i got it, now i got a f-body door unlocking tool in my garage lol.

$30 bucks for a new ignition key isn't too bad. I was at Home Depot the other day and noticed the key girl was open, so I asked if she could make a GM key w/ a resistor. She said no problem, $1.50 - I left my wallet in the car on the way back to get it, I realized she had no idea what she was talking about.

just call someone out and don't give any more ls1tech browsing crackheads ideas on how to increase their "earnings."
yeah, it won't work. when i have the top/windows down and come out to the car after i've locked the doors, those unlock buttons (and trunk release) are all dead.

Maybe next time you could try being smart enough to have a spare key.
A spare door key costs about $1.50.

I have used a bent metal CB radio antenna and a grade stake and fished the key out of the ignition from the passenger side. Yes, I know it's unbelievable...but it works, and it's not that hard. All you have to do is bend something long enough to reach the ignition and hook the key ring or the key itself, you will have to make several bends along the way to get it right; you will also need a very small hook type bend on the end going for the key. Then just pull it to you...it's a helluva lot easier than trying to get the door handle, or hitting an unlock button that is dead. Seriously...takes less than 3 minutes, maybe 4 if you have to straighten the coat hanger first.

if in no big hurry like you said contact your insurance. you might be covered for this on your policy. if so, then you can get a professional locksmith to open it for you and get reimbursed from your insurance. i had this happen to me before. as for prying the window, sticking metal hangers that could possibly scratch windows and mess with the weather stripping, not for me. hope this helps.......
